Selecting a user pro/le may trigger an adjust-
ment of the driver's seat tothe position sa ved
under the user pro/le. You or other vehicle
occupants could be injured in the process. #
Make sure that when the position of the
driver's seat is being adjus ted via the
multimedia system, no people or body
parts are in the seat's range of mo ve-
ment.
If th ere is a risk of someone becoming trap-
ped, stop the adjustment process immedi-
atel y: #
a)Tapth ewa rning message onthe
media displa y.

b) Press a memory function position but-
ton or a seat adjustment switch on the
driver's door.

The vehicle calculates a suitable driver's seat and
steering wheel position on the basis of the driver's
body size and sets this directl y. #

The driver's seat and steering wheel position
is adjusted tothe body size that has been set.
% Ifth e driver's seat and steering wheel position
calculated bytheve hicle is not practical or
comfor table, it can be manually changed at
any time via the buttons.
The exterior mir rors are not set via this func-
tion. Instead, they have tobe set manually via
th e switches.
% You can also con/gure these settings via the
Mercedes me por talfo ryo ur user pro/le. By
synchronising the pro/les in theve hicle and
th e Mercedes me connect pro/les, you can

Ensure that the indicator lamp in button 1

onds, press preset position button 4.
The settings forth e front passenger seat and
th ere ar seat are stored in the preset position.
% You cannot store any settings on the buttons

th eir seat belts fastened co rrectly and are sitting
proper ly.Pa rticular attention must be paid tochil-
dren.
If yo u no longer requ ire thefo lded-down rear seat
backrest as a load area, fold the backrest back
into place.
Make sure that there d marking of the lock veri/-
cation indicator is no lon ger visible. Otherwise,
th e seat backrest will not be loc ked.

will fold forw ards.
