and cause engine damage.

R Drive at a maximum speed of 10 km/h; water

cles, can create waves which may exceed the
maximum permissible dep thofthewa ter.
The braking e.ect of the brakes is reduced aTer

brake failure as a result of increased wear. The
braking characteristics will vary depending on the
material that has entered the system. Clean the
brakes aTer driving o.- road. If youth en notice
re duced braking e.ect or hear scraping noises,

guaranteed that the star ter battery will reliably

less than the stored speed, the segments in the
speedome ter light up. The Instrument Display
sho ws th e deactivation of Active Distance Assist
DISTRONIC, as well as alterations tothe speed
due tomanual or automatic adoption of the maxi-
mum permissible speed.

The windscreen in the area of the camera is
dirty, misted up, damaged or co vered.
R Ifth era dar sensors are dirty or co vered.
R In multi-s tore y car par ksor on roads with
steep uphill or downhill gradients.
R Ifth ere are nar row vehicles in front, such as
bicycles or mo torc yc les.
In addition, on slippery roads, braking or acceler-
ating can cause one or se veral wheels tolose
traction and theve hicle could then skid.
Do not use Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC in
