and toenable customers tosafely handle these
substances. There are SVHCs known to
Mercedes‑Benz AG, according tosupplier informa-
tion and internal product information, found in
individual components of this vehicle in quantities
of ove r 0.1 percent byweight.

Mercedes-Benz AGcannot, despite carefully
de veloping vehicle systems, comple tely rule out th
e interaction of vehicle systems with elect ronic
medical aids such as ca rdiac pacemake rs.
In addition, there are components installed in the
ve hicle that, rega rdless of the operating status of
th eve hicle, can generate magnetic /elds on a par
with permanent magnets. These /elds can be
fo und, forex ample, in the area around the multi-
media and sound system or also in the area of the
seats, depending on theve hicle equipment.
Fo rth is reason, thefo llowing can occur in isolated
cases, depending on the aids used:
R Medical aids malfunctioning
R Adve rse health e.ects
Obser vethe no tes and warnings of the manufac-
turer of the medical aids; if in doubt, contact the
device manufacturer and/or your doctor. If there
is continuing uncer tainty concerning the possibil-
ity of medical aids malfunctioning, Mercedes-
Benz AGrecommends using only fewelectrical
ve hicle systems and/or main taining a distance
from the components.

cations (apps) cur rently running.
The mobile phone can be cooled in the mobile
phone st owage compartment when the air
conditioning system is switched on. The cool-
ing output in the mobile phone st owage com-
partment is highest when the controller in the
glo vebox is closed.
R Toensure more e1cient charging and connec-
tion with theve hicle's exterior aerial, remo ve
th e pr otective co ver from the mobile phone. Pr
otective co vers which are designed for wire-
less charging are excluded.
R When charging, the mat should be used if pos-
