Ve hicles with a diesel engine:
If yo u mix diesel fuel with petrol, the 0ash
point of the fuel mixture is lo werth an that of
pure diesel fuel.
While theve hicle is running, component parts
in theex haust system may overheat without
wa rning. #
Neverre fuel using petrol. #
Never mix petrol with diesel fuel. *

TE Damage caused bythe wrong fuel Ve
hicles with a petrol engine:
Even small amounts of the wrong fuel could
re sult in damage tothe fuel system, the
engine and the emission control system. #
Only refuel using unleaded, sulphu r-free

The fuel tank can only be bled if the conditions
mentioned abo veare ful/lled. Otherwise, drive the
ve hicle at least 0.5 km and repeat the procedure.

The charging process is ended. The %indi-
cator lamp 1lights up white. The vehicle
soc ket is unloc ked.
% Ifyo u cannot remo vethech arging cable con-
nector, unlock theve hicle and repeat the pro-
cedure. If thech arging cable connector is still
loc ked, contact a quali/ed specialist work-
shop. #
Close the soc ket co ver and the soc ket 0ap.
% ATer thech arging cable connector has been
disconnected, the leT % indicator lamp 1

Keep the area around vehicle senso rsor
cameras clear of any obst ructions and
clean. #
Have damage tothe bumper, radiator
gr ille or stone chipping in the area of the
front and rear wind owsre paired at a
qu ali/ed specialist workshop. Pa
rticular ly,ke ep the areas around the sensors
and cameras free of dirt, ice or slush
(/ page 336). The sensors and cameras must not be co
vered and the de tection ranges around
th em must be kept free. Do not at tach additional
licence plate brac kets, advertisements, stic kers,
fo ils or foils toprotect against stone chippings in
th e de tection range of the sensors and cameras.
Make sure that there are no overhanging loads
pr otru ding into the de tection range.
If th ere is damage toa bumper or thera diator
gr ille, or aTer an impact, ha vethe function of the
senso rschecked at a quali/ed specialist work-
shop. Ha vedamage or stone chipping in the area
of the cameras on the front and rear wind ows

unctions of ABS The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS)
regulates the
brake pressure in critical driving situations:
R During braking, for instance, at maximum full-
stop braking or if there is insu1cient tyre trac-
tion, the wheels are pr evented from locking.
R Vehicle steerability while braking is ensu red.
If ABS inter venes when braking, you will feel a
pulsing in the brake pedal. The pulsating brake
pedal can be an indication of hazardous road con-
ditions and can ser veas a reminder totake extra
care while driving.
