0ap 1cannot be opened. #
Press cat ch7 tothe leT and fold open
soc ket co ver5.
% The CCS charging cable connector requ ires
connections 6and 8. Therefore, it is nec-
essary toopen bo thparts of soc ket co ver5. #
Insert the CCS charging cable connector into
th eve hicle soc ketto the stop.
Make sure that thech arging cable is not taut
when inser ted.
The # indicator lamp 4and status dis-
play 30ash orange and, as soon as the high-
vo ltage battery is charge d, green.
When thech arging cable is connected totheve hi-
cle, theve hicle cann otbe star ted or mo ved.
At the start of thech arging process, thech arge
le ve l display is shown in the Instrument Display
with a charging prediction. The charging predic-
tion either refers to the predicted charge leve l at
th e set departure time, or the time at which the
high- voltage battery will be fully charge d. Driving and parking

Secure the cable tothe trailer with cable ties

Make sure that the cable is alw ays slack for
ease of mo vement during cornering.

appear on the inst rument display even if the
trailer has been connec ted cor rectl y:
R LEDs ha vebeen ins talled in the trailer lighting
system.
R The cur rent has fallen below the trailer lighting
system's minimum cur rent (50 mA).
% Accessories can be connected tothe perma-
