5-5.Using the other interior features
1To set the visor in the forward posi-
tion, flip it down.
2 To set the visor in the side position,
flip down, unhook, and swing it to
the side.
3 To use the side extender, place the
visor in the side position, then slide
it backward.
■Sun visors
Slide the cover to open.
The light turns on when the cover is
opened.
■Auxiliary box
Remove the lid of auxiliary box using the strap . (
P.307)
There is a vanity mirror on the back side of
the lid.
■Automatic light off to prevent 12-volt
battery discharge
If the vanity lights remain on when the
power switch is turned off, the lights will go
off automatically after 20 minutes.
The GPS clock’s time is automatically
adjusted by utilizing GPS time infor-
mation.

TION AND MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM
OWNER’S MANUAL”.

NOTICE
■To prevent damage to the vanity mir-
ror
When the lid of auxiliary box is removed,
do not subject it to strong impacts or set
heavy objects on top of it.
■To prevent 12-volt battery discharge
Do not leave the vanity lights on longer
than necessary when the hybrid system is
off.

1Lift the deck board and attach the

2 Remove the left side deck board.
3 Remove the cover after removing
the chip.

Make sure that the 12-volt battery ter-
minals are not corroded and that there
are no loose connections, cracks, or loose clamps.

NOTICE
■When recharging the 12-volt battery
Never recharge the 12-volt battery while
the hybrid system is operating. Also, be
sure all accessories are turned off.
