■When the drive mode is in +R mode
To completely disable VSA®, the VSA® must be
in +R mode. Press and hold the VSA ® OFF
button until you hear a si ngle beep, then later
two more beeps.
u This message appears on the driver
information interface.
To resume VSA® full function, press the VSA ®
OFF button until a single beep is heard.
If VSA ® OFF mode is selected, and drive mode
is changed to a mode other than +R, VSA ® full
function will resume, and the VSA ® OFF
indicator will goes off.
2.0 L engine models
1 When the drive mode is in +R mode
In OFF mode, your vehicle will have normal braking
and cornering ability, bu t it will not have VSA®
traction and stability enhancement.
When the VSA ® system is off, the traction control
system is also off.
We do not recommend driving your vehicle with the
VSA ® and traction control system switched off.
When you completely disable VSA® , you cannot use
Adaptive Cruise Control ( ACC) or the Lane Keeping
Assist System (LKAS). If either feature is in use when
you completely disable VSA ®, the feature in use will
automatically be canceled.
Road Departure Mitigati on (RDM) System and
Collision Mitigati on Braking System
TM (CMBSTM) do
not function while VSA ® is completely disabled.

uuWhen Driving uLaneWatchTM*
Driving
LaneWatchTM*
LaneWatch is an assistance system that allows you to check the passenger side rear
areas displayed on the audio/in formation screen when the turn signal is activated to
the passenger’s side. A camera in the passenger side door mirror monitors these
areas and allows you to check for vehicles, in addition to your visual check and use
of the passenger door mirror. You can also keep the system on for your convenience
while driving.1 LaneWatchTM*
Important Safety Reminder
Like all assistance systems, LaneWatch has
limitations. Over reliance on LaneWatch may result in
a collision.
The LaneWatch func tion can be affected by weather,
lighting (including headli ghts and low sun angle),
ambient darkness, camera condition, and loading.
The LaneWatch may not prov ide the intended display
of traffic to the side and rear under the following
conditions:
•Your vehicle’s suspension has been altered,
changing the height of the vehicle.
•Your tires are over or under inflated.•Your tires or wheels are of varied size or
construction.
3WARNING
Failure to visually confirm that it is safe to
change lanes before doing so may result in
a crash and serious injury or death.
Do not rely only on LaneWatch while
driving.
Always look in your mi rrors, to either side
of your vehicle, and behind you for other
vehicles before changing lanes.

Honda Sensing®
Honda Sensing® is a driver support system which employs the use of two distinctly
different kinds of sensors: a radar sensor located in the lower bumper and a front
sensor camera mounted to th e interior side of the windshield, behind the rearview
mirror.
Honda Sensing® has following functions.

uuHonda Sensing ®u Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low Speed Follow*
Driving
When driving at about 25 mph (40 km/h) or above: Take your foot off the
pedal and press the –/SET button when you reach the desired speed. The moment
you release the button, th e set speed is fixed, and ACC with Low Speed Follow
begins.
When driving slower than about 25 mph (40 km/h): If the vehicle is moving
and the brake pedal is not depressed, pressi ng the button fixes the set speed to 25
mph (40 km/h) regardless of current vehicle speed. If your vehicle is stationary and a
vehicle is detected ahead, your vehicle sp eed can be set, even with the brake pedal
depressed.
■To Set the Vehicle Speed1 Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low Speed Follow*
Do not use ACC with Low Speed Follow under the
following conditions:
•On roads with heavy traf fic or while driving in
continuous stop and go traffic.
•On roads with sharp turns.
•On roads with steep downhill sections, as the set
vehicle speed can be exceeded by coasting. In such
cases, ACC with Low Speed Follow will not apply
the brakes to maintain the set speed.
•On roads with toll collection facilities or other
objects between lanes of traffic, or in parking
areas, or faci lities with driv e through access.
You can switch the displayed set speed
measurements on the driver information interface or
audio/information screen between mph and km/h. 2 Customized Features P. 134, 350
