ADJUSTING THE STEERING
WHEEL - VEHICLES WITH:
MANUAL ADJUSTABLE
STEERING COLUMN
WARNING: Do not adjust the
steering wheel when your vehicle is
moving.
Note: Make sure that you are sitting in the
correct position. See
Sitting in the Correct
Position (page 157). 1. Unlock the steering column.
2. Adjust the steering wheel to the
position you prefer.
3. Lock the steering column. ADJUSTING THE STEERING

Pull the head restraint up.
Lowering the Head Restraint
1. Press and hold button C.
2. Push the head restraint down.
Removing the Head Restraint
1. Pull the head restraint up until it reaches its highest position.
2. Press and hold buttons C and D.
3. Pull the head restraint up.
Installing the Head Restraint
Align the steel stems into the guide sleeves
and push the head restraint down until it
locks.
Third Row Head Restraints
The third row head restraints are
non-adjustable, but you may be able to
fold them. The head restraints consist of:
•
A trimmed energy absorbing foam and
structure.
• A fold button (If equipped).
Folding the Head Restraint
1. Press the button to fold the head restraint.
2. Pull the head restraint up to place it back in the upright position.
Power Rear Head Restraints (If
Equipped)
The third row outermost head restraints
are fixed and cannot be removed. Press the button on the head restraint or
the button on the instrument panel to the
left of the steering wheel to fold the third
row outermost head restraints. Pull the
head restraint up to place it in the upright
position.
Note:
These head restraints fold when you
press the fold flat button.
