Power Folding Third Row Head Restraints
For improved visibility when in REVERSE, the third
row head restraints can be folded using the
Uconnect system.
Press the “Controls” button located on the bottom
of the Uconnect display.
Press the Headrest Fold button to power
fold the third row head restraints.
NOTE:
The head restraints can only be folded down -
ward using the Headrest Fold button. The head
restraints must be raised manually when occu -
pying the third row.
Do not fold if there are passengers seated in the
third row seats.

INTRODUCING VOICE RECOGNITION
Start using Uconnect Voice Recognition (VR) with
these helpful quick tips. It provides the key Voice
Commands and tips you need to know to control
your Uconnect system.
Uconnect 4C/4C NAV With 8.4-inch Display Voice Recognition
BASIC VOICE COMMANDS
The basic Voice Commands below can be given at
any point while using your Uconnect system.
Push the VR button or for the Uconnect
5/5 NAV With 10.1-inch Display, say the vehicle’s
“Wake Up” word, “Hey Uconnect”. After the beep,
say:
“Cancel ” to stop a current voice session
“Help ” to hear a list of suggested Voice
Commands
“ Repeat ” to listen to the system prompts again
Notice the visual cues that inform you of your voice
recognition system’s status. Cues appear on the
touchscreen.
GET STARTED
All you need to control your Uconnect system with
your voice are the buttons on your steering wheel.
Helpful hints for using Voice Recognition:
Reduce background noise. Wind and passenger
conversations are examples of noise that may
impact recognition.
Speak clearly at a normal pace and volume
while facing straight ahead.
WARNING!
A loose head restraint thrown forward in a
collision or hard stop could cause serious
injury or death to occupants of the vehicle.
Always securely stow removed head restraints
in a location outside the occupant compart -
ment.
ALL the head restraints MUST be reinstalled in
the vehicle to properly protect the occupants.
Follow the reinstallation instructions above
prior to operating the vehicle or occupying a
seat.

246IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
Even if the SOS Call system is fully functional,
factors beyond FCA US LLC’s control may prevent
or stop the SOS Call system operation. These
include, but are not limited to, the following
factors:
The ignition is in the OFF position
The vehicle’s electrical systems are not intact
The SOS Call system software and/or hardware
are damaged during a crash
The vehicle battery loses power or becomes
disconnected during a vehicle crash
LTE (voice/data), 3G or 4G (data) network and/
or Global Positioning Satellite signals are
unavailable or obstructed
Equipment malfunction at the SOS operator
facility
Operator error by the SOS operator
LTE (voice/data), 3G or 4G (data) network
congestion
Weather
Buildings, structures, geographic terrain, or
tunnels
NOTE:
Your vehicle may be transmitting data as autho -
rized by the subscriber.
Never place anything on or near the vehicle’s
LTE (voice/data), 3G or 4G (data) and GPS
antennas. You could prevent LTE (voice/data),
3G or 4G (data) and GPS signal reception, which
can prevent your vehicle from placing an emer -
gency call. An operable LTE (voice/data), 3G or
4G (data) network connection and a GPS signal
is required for the SOS Call system to function
properly.
NOTE:Changes or modifications not expressly approved
by the party responsible for compliance could void
the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Automatic SOS — If Equipped
Automatic SOS is a hands-free safety service that
can immediately connect you with help in the event
that your vehicle’s airbags deploy. Please refer to
your provided radio supplement for complete
information.WARNING!

features and applications in this vehicle. Only
use the features and applications when it is safe

CAUTION!
To avoid damage to the mirror during cleaning,
never spray any cleaning solution directly onto
the mirror. Apply the solution onto a clean cloth
and wipe the mirror clean.
