4F Optional equipment
The Keyless Access System allows locking/unlocking of the doors and lift\
gate without removing the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter (key fob) from your pock\
et or purse. The key fob must be within 3 feet of the liftgate or the door being unlocked\
.
KEYLESS UNLOCKING
With the key fob within range:
Press the button on the driver’s door handle to unlock the driver’\
s door or all doors and liftgate.
Press the button on a passenger’s door handle to unlock all doors and\
liftgate.
KEYLESS LOCKING
With the ignition off, the key fob removed from the vehicle, and all doo\
rs closed:
Press the button on any door handle to lock all doors and liftgate immed\
iately.
If Passive Locking is turned on in the Settings menu, all doors and lift\
gate will lock automatically after a short delay.
Note: To change the door lock and unlock settings, go to Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, Start.

REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER (KEY FOB)

Press to lock all doors and liftgate.

Press to unlock the driver’s door or all doors and liftgate.
Remote WindowsF
Press and hold the
button until the windows are fully open. To enable, go to Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, Start > Remote Window Operation.
Remote MirrorsF
To enable the automatic power folding mirrors, go to Settings > Vehicle > Comfort and Convenience > Remote Mirror Folding.
Power LiftgateF
Press twice to open or close the liftgate. Press once to stop the liftgate.
Rear LiftglassF
Press twice to open the rear liftglass.
Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm
Press and release to locate your vehicle.
Press and hold to activate the alarm. Press again to cancel the alarm.
[ Remote Vehicle Start
Press twice to start the engine from outside the vehicle. After entering the vehicle, press the ENGINE START/STOP button.
• During a remote start, the engine will run for 15 minutes. Press the [ button twice again for an additional 15 minutes.
• To cancel a remote start, press and hold the [ button until the parking lamps turn off.
Note: To change the remote lock, unlock, and remote start settings, go to Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, Start.

5F Optional equipment
The fuel-saving Engine Stop/Start system automatically turns off the eng\
ine, referred to as an Auto Stop, when the brake pedal is pressed and the vehicle is at a\
complete stop, if certain operating conditions are met. In Auto Stop mode, the tachometer \
will read AUTO STOP. When the brake pedal is released or the accelerator pedal is press\
ed, the engine will restart. After parking the vehicle and turning off the engine, the tacho\
meter will read OFF.
The engine may remain running or restart when the vehicle is stopped if:\
• A minimum vehicle speed was not reached prior to stopping.
• The engine or transmission is not at the required operating temperature.\
• The outside temperature is not in the required operating range.
• The shift lever is in any gear other than Drive (D).
• The battery charge is low.
• The climate control system requires the engine to run based on the curre\
nt settings.
• The Auto Stop has reached the maximum allowed time.
AUTO ENGINE STOP/START DISABLE
Press the $ button on the left side of the instrument panel to turn off the system. The button indicator turns off when the system is disabled.
The Auto Engine Stop/Start system is enabled each time the vehicle is st\
arted.

AUTO ENGINE STOP/START OPERATION
KEYLESS (PUSHBUTTON) START
The Remote Keyless Entry transmitter (key fob) must be in the vehicle to turn on the ignition.
STARTING THE ENGINE
With the vehicle in Park or Neutral, press the brake pedal and then press and hold the ENGINE START/STOP button to start the engine. The green indicator on the button will illuminate.
Note: If the key fob battery is weak, place the key fob in the center console left cupholder to enable the engine to start. Replace the key fob battery as soon as possible.
STOPPING THE ENGINE/OFF
Shift to Park and press the ENGINE START/STOP button to turn off the engine.
ACCESSORY MODE
With the engine off and the brake pedal not depressed, press the ENGINE START/ STOP button to place the ignition in accessory mode to operate the radio, wi\
ndows and other accessories with the engine off. The amber button indicator wi\
ll illuminate. Press and hold the ENGINE START/STOP button for several seconds to place the
ignition in Service Mode to operate additional systems.

DRIVER MODE CONTROLF/FOUR-WHEEL DRIVEF
DRIVER MODE CONTROL
The Driver Mode Control settings automatically adjust various vehicle control systems based on driving preferences, weather and road condi-tions. The modes are displayed on the Driver Information Center.
Rotate the Driver Mode Control knob (A) on the left side of the instrument panel to select a mode.
Normal – Use for normal driving.
Sport – Use for enhanced responsiveness on paved roads.
Snow/Ice (2WD only) – Use for enhanced traction during slippery conditions.
Off-Road (4WD only) – Use for enhanced control on unpaved roads or trails at moderate speeds.
Tow/Haul – Use to reduce shift cycling when towing or hauling heavy loads in \
stop-and-go traffic, rolling hills, or busy parking lots.
Terrain (4WD onlyF) – Press the button for enhanced control in low-speed off-road
conditions. The system automatically provides light vehicle braking to simulate engine vehicle braking. Only available with the single-speed transfer case when in4

FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE
Use the four-wheel drive buttons (B) on the left side of the instrument panel to shift into and out of four-wheel drive. The Driver Information Center displays the current status of the transfer case.
AUTO Automatic 4WD High – Use when traction conditions vary.

N Neutral (2-Speed Transfer CaseF) – Use to dolly or dinghy tow the vehicle. Refer to your Owner’s Manual for the shift procedure.
