INT :Move the lever up to INT for
intermittent wipes, then turn the
Nband
up for more frequent wipes or down for less
frequent wipes.
OFF : Use to turn the wipers off.
1X : For a single wipe, briefly move the
wiper lever down. For several wipes, hold
the wiper lever down.
f: Pull the windshield wiper lever
toward you to spray washer fluid and
activate the wipers. The wipers will continue
until the lever is released or the maximum
wash time is reached. When the lever is
released, additional wipes may occur
depending on how long the windshield
washer had been activated. See Washer
Fluid 0249 for information on filling the
windshield washer fluid reservoir.
Clear snow and ice from the wiper blades
and windshield before using them. If frozen
to the windshield, carefully loosen or thaw
them. Damaged blades should be replaced.
See Wiper Blade Replacement 0252.
Heavy snow or ice can overload the wiper
motor.
{Warning
In freezing weather, do not use the
washer until the windshield is warmed.
Otherwise the washer fluid can form ice
on the windshield, blocking your vision.
{Warning
Before driving the vehicle, always clear
snow and ice from the hood, windshield,
roof, and rear of the vehicle, including all
lamps and windows. Reduced visibility
from snow and ice buildup could lead to
a crash.
Wiper Parking
If the ignition is turned off while the wipers
are on LO, HI, or INT, they will
immediately stop.
If the windshield wiper lever is then moved
to OFF before the driver door is opened or
within 10 minutes, the wipers will restart
and move to the base of the windshield. If the ignition is turned off while the wipers
are performing wipes due to windshield
washing, the wipers continue to run until
they reach the base of the windshield.
Compass
The vehicle may have a compass display on
the center stack. The compass receives its
heading and other information from the
Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna,
Electronic Stability Control, and vehicle
speed information.
The compass system is designed to operate
for a certain number of miles or degrees of
turn before needing a signal from the GPS
satellites. When the compass display shows
CAL, drive the vehicle for a short distance in
an open area where it can receive a GPS
signal. The compass system will
automatically determine when a GPS signal
is restored and provide a heading again.
Clock
Set the time and date using the
infotainment system. See "Time / Date"
under
Settings 0153.

108 Lighting
If after signaling a turn or lane change the
arrows flash rapidly or do not come on, a
turn signal indicator light failure may have
occurred.
If a turn signal has failed, the lamp may
need to be replaced. See your dealer.
Turn Signal on Chime
A chime sounds if the turn signal has been
on for more than 1.2 km (0.75 mi) of driving.
If you need to leave the turn signal on for
more than 1.2 km (0.75 mi), turn off the
signal and then turn it back on.
Interior Lighting
Instrument Panel Illumination
Control
This feature adjusts the brightness of all
illuminated controls. The knob for this
feature is on the left side of the instrument
panel.
Turn the knob clockwise or counterclockwise
to brighten or dim the lights.
The knob is functional at night, or when
headlamps or the parking lamps are ON.
Night Mode
At night, when the knob is turned all the
way to the off position, the instrument
cluster will show minimum feature content
(digital speed, gear indication, coolant
temperature, and the fuel gauge) with
muted colors to reduce light emission for
better visibility. The Infotainment System
display and the interior lighting are off.
Courtesy Lamps
The interior lamps will come on when any
door is opened,
Kon the remote key is
pressed, or when the ignition is
switched off.
The hatch/trunk lamps only come on when
the rear compartment is opened.
Reading Lamps
The reading lamps are in the overhead
console. The lamps go on when any door is
opened,
Kon the remote key is pressed,
or when the ignition is switched off. When
the doors are closed, press the lamp buttons
to turn on each lamp.
To operate, the ignition must be on, in ACC/
ACCESSORY, or using Retained Accessory
Power (RAP).
Engine Compartment Lamp
The engine compartment lamp will come
on when:
.Any door, including the engine
compartment hatch, is opened.
.Kis pressed on the remote key.
.Keyless access is used to unlock.

Settings
Certain settings can be managed in the
Owner Center sites when an account is
established, and may be modified if other
users have accessed the vehicle or created
accounts. This may result in changes to the
security or functionality of the infotainment
system. Some settings may also be
transferred to a new vehicle, if equipped. For
instructions, in the U.S. see
my.chevrolet.com or in Canada see
mychevrolet.ca or monchevrolet.ca.
Refer to the User Terms and Privacy
Statement for important details. To view,
touch the Settings icon on the Home Page
of the infotainment display.
The settings menu may be organized into
four categories. Select the desired category
by touching System, Apps, Vehicle,
or Personal.
To access the personalization menus:1. Touch Settings on the Home Page on the infotainment display.
2. Touch the desired category to display a list of available options.
3. Touch to select the desired feature setting. 4. Touch the options on the infotainment
display to disable or enable a feature.
5. Touchzto go to the top level of the
Settings menu.
System
The menu may contain the following:
Time / Date
Use the following features to set the clock:
.Automatic Time and Date: Touch Off or
On to enable or disable automatic update
of the time and date. When this feature
is on, the time and date cannot be
manually set.
.Set Time: Touch to manually set the time
using the controls on the infotainment
display.
.Set Date: Touch to manually set the date
using the controls on the infotainment
display.
.Automatic Time Zone (If Equipped): Touch
Off or On to disable or enable automatic
update of the time zone based on vehicle
location. When this feature is on, the
time zone cannot be manually set.
.Select Time Zone: Touch to manually set
the time zone. Select a time zone from
the list.
.24-hour Format: Touch to specify the
clock format shown.
Touch Off or On to disable or enable.
Language
This will set the display language used on
the infotainment display. It may also use
the selected language for voice recognition
and audio feedback. Touch Language and
touch the appropriate language.
Phones
Touch to connect to a different cell phone or
mobile device source, disconnect a cell
phone or media device, or delete a cell
phone or media device.
Wi-Fi Networks
This will show connected and available Wi-Fi
networks.
If a 4G LTE data package is not active on the
vehicle, the infotainment system can be
connected to an external protected Wi-Fi
network, such as a mobile device or home
hotspot, to utilize connected services.

How to Add Coolant to the Coolant
Surge Tank
{Warning
Spilling coolant on hot engine parts can
burn you. Coolant contains ethylene
glycol and it will burn if the engine parts
are hot enough.
{Warning
Steam and scalding liquids from a hot
cooling system are under pressure.
Turning the pressure cap, even a little,
can cause them to come out at high
speed and you could be burned. Never
turn the cap when the cooling system,
including the pressure cap, is hot. Wait
for the cooling system and pressure cap
to cool.
If coolant is needed, be sure the cooling
system is cool, then add the proper
DEX-COOL coolant mixture directly to the
surge tank. 1. Open the Hatch/Trunk. See Hatch (Trunk)
0 19.
2. When the cooling system, including the
coolant surge tank pressure cap and
engine, is no longer hot, remove the
pressure cap.
Turn the pressure cap slowly
counterclockwise about one-quarter turn
and then stop.
If a hiss is heard, wait for that to stop.
A hiss means there is still some
pressure left.
3. Keep turning the pressure cap slowly, and remove it.
4. Fill the coolant surge tank with theproper mixture until the level inside
stabilizes at the COLD FILL indicator in
the surge tank.
5. With the coolant surge tank pressure cap off, start the engine and let it run until
the engine is hot.
By this time, the coolant level inside the
coolant surge tank may be lower. If the
level is lower, add more of the proper
mixture to the coolant surge tank until
the level stabilizes at the COLD FILL
indicator in the coolant surge tank.
6. Replace the pressure cap tightly.

Install the tow eye into the socket by
turning it clockwise until it stops. When the
tow eye is removed, reinstall the cover with
the notch in the original position.
The vehicle is equipped with slots that are
located underneath the vehicle rearward of
the front tires. These can be used to pull the
vehicle onto a flatbed car carrier from a flat
road surface. Do not use the tow eye to pull
the vehicle from snow, mud, or sand.
To tow the vehicle behind another vehicle
for recreational purposes, such as behind a
motor home, see“Recreational Vehicle
Towing” following.
Recreational Vehicle Towing
Caution
Dolly towing or dinghy towing the
vehicle may cause damage because of
reduced ground clearance. Always put the
vehicle on a flatbed truck or trailer.
The vehicle was neither designed nor
intended to be towed with any of its wheels
on the ground. If the vehicle must be
towed, see Towing the Vehicle 0281.
Appearance Care
Exterior Care
Locks
Locks are lubricated at the factory. Use a
de-icing agent only when absolutely
necessary, and have the locks greased after
using. See Recommended Fluids and
Lubricants 0301.
Washing the Vehicle
To preserve the vehicle's finish, wash it
often and out of direct sunlight.
Caution
Do not use petroleum-based, acidic,
or abrasive cleaning agents as they can
damage the vehicle's paint, metal,
or plastic parts. If damage occurs, it
would not be covered by the vehicle
warranty. Approved cleaning products can
be obtained from your dealer. Follow all
manufacturer directions regarding correct
product usage, necessary safety
precautions, and appropriate disposal of
any vehicle care product.
Caution
Avoid using high-pressure washes closer
than 30 cm (12 in) to the surface of the
vehicle. Use of power washers exceeding
8 274 kPa (1,200 psi) can result in
damage or removal of paint and decals.
