KEYLESS STARTAUTO ENGINE STOP/START
The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter (key fob) must be in the vehicle to turn on the ignition.
START With the vehicle in Park or Neutral, press the brake pedal and then press the ENGINE START/STOP button to start the engine. The green indicator on the but-ton will illuminate.
Note: If the RKE transmitter battery is weak, place the transmitter in the forward
cupholder in the center console to enable the engine to start. Replace the transmitter battery as soon as possible.
STOP/OFF Shift to Park and press the ENGINE START/STOP button to turn off the engine.
Power will be available for 10 minutes to operate the audio system until the driver’s door is opened and to operate the windows and sunroof♦ until any door is opened.
ACCESSORY With the engine off and the brake pedal NOT depressed, press the ENGINE START/STOP button to place the ignition system in the Accessory mode. The amber indicator on the button will illuminate.

A fuel-saving stop/start system has been integrated with the 2.0L Turbo engine. While driving, when the brake pedal is applied and the vehicle is at a complete stop, the automatic engine stop/start system may turn off the engine, depending on operating condi-tions. When the engine is off, the tachometer will read AUTO STOP. Upon releasing the brake pedal or applying the accelerator pedal, the engine will restart. After parking the vehicle and turning off the engine, the tachometer will read OFF.
The engine may remain running when the vehicle is stopped if:
• A minimum vehicle speed was not reached prior to stopping.
• The engine or trans-mission is not at the required operating temperature.
• The outside temperature is not in the required operating range.
• The shift lever is in any gear other than Drive (D).
• The battery charge is low.
• The climate control system requires the engine to run based on the current settings.
AUTO ENGINE STOP/START DISABLE Press the $ Auto Stop button on the center console when the engine is running to turn off the stop/start system. The button indicator is not illuminated when the system is off.
The system automatically turns on each time the vehicle is started.

AUTOMATIC OPERATION
Press the AUTO button. The system automatically controls the fan speed, air delivery, air conditioning and recirculation to reach the set temperature. If a function is manually adjusted, the auto indicator turns off and automatic operation for that function is disabled. Functions that have not been adjusted remain in auto mode.
SYNC TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
Press the SYNC button to synchronize all climate zone settings to the driver’s
settings.
CABIN AIR IONIZER♦
The ionizer, which removes contaminants such as pollen and dust to help clean the air inside the vehicle, turns on automatically with the climate control system. The ionizer status is shown on the
climate control display on the infotainment screen.
To turn on or off, go to Settings > Vehicle > Climate and Air Quality > Ionizer.

The climate control settings can be adjusted using the climate control buttons or select Climate on the Home page of the infotainment system.

SEAT FEATURES
SET FRONT SEAT MEMORY♦ POSITIONS
With the ignition on or in Accessory mode:
1. Adjust the driver’s seat, power steering column♦ and power outside
mirrors to the desired positions.
2. Press and release the SET button on the driver’s door. A beep will sound.
3. Immediately press and hold button 1 or 2 until two beeps sound. Use the button that matches the Driver Information Center welcome message indi-cating driver 1 or 2.
To store seat and power steering column positions for more clearance when exiting the vehicle, repeat the steps using the Exit button instead of button 1 or 2.
RECALL FRONT SEAT MEMORY♦ POSITIONS
Press and hold button 1, 2 or Exit until the set position is reached.
The memory/exit positions can be programmed to be recalled automatically when the ignition is turned on/off (for exit recall, the driver’s door must be opened).
To set the automatic recall options, go to Settings > Vehicle > Seating Position > Seat Entry Memory and Seat Exit Memory.
FRONT SEAT LUMBAR MASSAGE♦
With the ignition on, press the Massage button (A) on the side of the seat to select the mas-sage
setting.
Use the Feature Select knob (B) to display seat adjustment features on the infotain-ment screen and adjust the massage type and intensity.
AUTOMATIC HEATED/VENTILATED FRONT SEATS♦
Anytime the vehicle is on, the heated or ventilated front seats will automatically activate based on the vehicle’s interior tempera-ture. The seat button indicators will illuminate when the heated or
ventilated seats are on. You may manually turn off the heated or
ventilated seats using the Heated or Ventilated Seat button.
To turn the automatic heated or ventilated front seats feature on or off, go to Settings > Vehicle > Climate and Air Quality > Auto Heated Seats or Auto Cooled Seats.
FOLDING THE REAR SEATBACK
1. Press the button (A) on the side of the head restraint. It will fold rear-ward automatically.
2. Pull the lever (B) on top of the seatback and fold the seatback forward.
