NOTICE
■When using a high pressure car wash
● When washing the vehicle, do not let water of the high pressure washer hit
directly or the vicinity of the camera. Due to the shock from t he high pres-
sure water, it is possible the device may not operate as normal.
● Do not bring the nozzle tip close to boots (rubber or resin man ufactured
cover), connectors or the following parts. The parts may be dam aged if
they come into contact with high-pressure water.
• Traction related parts
• Steering parts
• Suspension parts
• Brake parts
● Keep the cleaning nozzle at least 11.9 in. (30 cm) away from th e vehicle
body. Otherwise resin section, such as moldings and bumpers, ma y be
deformed and damaged. Also, do not continuously hold the nozzle in the
same place.
● Do not spray the lower part of the windshield continuously. If water enters
the air conditioning system intake located near the lower part of the wind-
shield, the air conditioning system may not operate correctly.
● Do not wash the underside of the vehicle using a high pressure car
washer.
● Do not use the washer on the area around the charging port lid. Water
could get into the charging inlet and could damage the vehicle.
■ When raising the windshield wiper arms
Make sure to hold the hook parts of the
wiper arms to raise them.
Do not hold only the wiper blades when
raising them, or it may cause deformation

Positioning a floor jack
◆Front
Set a floor jack against the front suspension member.
◆Rear
When using a floor jack, follow the instructions in the manual
provided with the jack and pe rform the operation safely.
When raising your vehicle with a floor jack, position the jack cor-
rectly. Improper placement may damage your vehicle or cause
injury.

■To prevent damage to the vehicle when towing using a wheel-lift type
truck
When raising the vehicle, ensure adequate ground clearance for towing at
the opposite end of the raised vehicle. Without adequate clearance, the
vehicle could be damaged while being towed.
■ To prevent damage to the vehicle when towing with a sling-type truck
Do not tow with a sling-type truck, either from the front or re a r.
■ To prevent damage to the vehicle during emergency towing
Do not secure cables or chains to the suspension components.

If you think something is wrong
●Fluid leaks un der the vehicle
(Water dripping from the air conditioning a fter use is normal.)
● Flat-looking tires or uneven tire wear
● High coolant temperature warni ng light flashes or comes on
● Changes in exhaust sound
● Excessive tire squeal when cornering
● Strange noises related to the suspension system
● Pinging or other noises related to the hybrid system
● Engine missing, stumb ling or running roughly
● Appreciable loss of power
● Vehicle pulls heavily to one side when braking
● Vehicle pulls heavily to one s ide when driving on a level road
● Loss of brake effectiveness, spongy feeling, pedal almost touch es
the floor
If you notice any of the followi ng symptoms, your vehicle proba -
bly needs adjustment or repair. Contact your Toyota dealer as
soon as possible.

AVERTISSEMENT
■Précautions relatives aux coussins gonflables SRS
● Si vous avez de la difficulté à respirer après le déploiement des coussins
gonflables SRS, ouvrez une portière ou une glace latérale pour laisser
entrer l’air frais, ou quittez le véhicule si vous pouvez le fa ire en toute
sécurité. Dès que possible, nettoyez tous les résidus afin d’éviter les irrita-
tions cutanées.
● Si les emplacements de stockage des coussins gonflables SRS, te ls que
le tampon de volant et les garnitures des montants avant et arr ière, sont
endommagés ou fissurés, faites-les remplacer par votre concessi onnaire
Toyota.
● Ne placez aucun objet, par exemple un coussin, sur le siège du passager
avant. Cela disperserait le poids du passager, ce qui empêcherait le cap-
teur de le détecter correctement. Cela pourrait empêcher le déploiement
des coussins gonflables SRS du passager avant en cas de collisi on.
■ Modification et mise au rebut des composants du système de cous sins
gonflables SRS
Ne mettez pas votre véhicule au rebut et n’effectuez aucune des modifica-
tions suivantes sans d’abord consulter votre concessionnaire To yota. Les
coussins gonflables SRS pourraient fonctionner de manière incorrecte ou
se déployer (gonfler) accidentellement, ce qui serait susceptible d’occasion-
ner des blessures graves, voire mortelles.
