Immobilizer SystemThis system is designed to help preventvehicle theft by electronically disabling the engine starting system. The engine can be started only with yourvehicle’s original immobilizer ignition key which has an electronic identification code programmed into it. The key communicatesthe identification code to the vehicle when the ignition switch is turned to the “ON” position. If you need to make spare keys, see your MARUTI SUZUKI dealer. The vehicle must be programmed with the cor- rect identification code for the spare keys. Akey made by an ordinary locksmith will not work.
