Compatibility of fuels
Diesel fuels conforming to the EN590, EN16734
and EN16709 standards and containing up to
7%, 10%, 20% and 30% fatty acid methyl ester
respectively. The use of B20 or B30 fuels, even
occasionally, imposes special maintenance
conditions referred to as "Arduous conditions".

Paraffinic Diesel fuel conforming to the EN15940
standard.
The use of any other type of (bio) fuel (vegetable or animal oils, pure or diluted,
domestic fuel, etc.) is strictly prohibited (risk
of damage to the engine and fuel system).
The only Diesel fuel additives authorised for use are those that meet the B715000
standard.
Diesel at low temperature
At temperatures below 0 °C (+32 °F), the formation of paraffins in summer-type Diesel
Fuel
The capacity of the tank is about 90 litres.
Fuel tanks of different capacities may be fitted,
60 and 120 litres, depending on the engine.
Low fuel level
When the low fuel tank level E (Empty) is
reached, this warning lamp comes on.
At this moment, you have approximately 10 or
12 litres left in the reserve, depending on the
capacity of your tank and the engine.
You must refuel as soon as possible to avoid
running out of fuel.
Refuelling
The fuel tank must be filled with the engine off.► Open the fuel filler flap.► Hold the black filler cap with one hand.► With the other hand, insert the key and turn it anti-clockwise.

► Remove the black filler cap and hang it on the hook located on the inside of the filler flap.
A label inside the fuel filler flap indicates the type
of fuel to use.
Do not continue past the 3
rd cut-off of the nozzle.
This may cause malfunctions.
► After filling the fuel tank, lock the black filler cap and close the filler flap.
With the Stop & Start system, never
refuel with the engine in STOP mode;
you must switch off the ignition using the key.
Fuel system cut off
In the event of an impact, a device automatically
cuts off the fuel supply to the engine and the
vehicle's power supply.
It triggers the hazard warning lamps and the
courtesy lamps, as well as the unlocking of the
doors.
After the impact and before restoring these power supplies, check that there
are no fuel leaks or sparks to avoid any risk of
fire.


► To restore the fuel supply, press the first button, located on the front right-hand side.

► To then restore the power supply, press the second button, located in the battery
compartment under the floor (Minibus).

Practical information
A clogged passenger compartment filter can adversely affect air conditioning
system performance and generate
undesirable odours.
Oil filter
Change the oil filter each time the engine oil is changed.
Particle filter (Diesel)
In addition to the catalytic converter, this filter
actively contributes to the preservation of
air quality by trapping the unburnt pollutant
particles. Black exhaust fumes are therefore not
emitted.
Operation
This filter, inserted into the exhaust system,
accumulates the carbonaceous particles. The
engine management computer automatically
and periodically manages the removal of
carbonaceous particles (regeneration).
The regeneration procedure is triggered
according to the amount of accumulated
particles and the conditions of use of the vehicle.
During this phase, you may notice certain
phenomena - accelerated idling, triggering of
the cooling fan, increased smoke and increased
temperature at the exhaust - which have no
impact on the operation of the vehicle and the
environment.
Screenwash and headlamp
washer fluid
To check the level or top up this fluid on vehicles fitted with headlamp washers,
immobilise the vehicle and switch off the engine.
Reservoir capacity: approximately 5.5 litres.


To access the filler cap, pull the telescopic filler
neck and unclip the cap.
Fluid specification
The fluid must be topped up with a ready-to-use
mixture.
In winter (temperatures below zero), a liquid
containing an agent to prevent freezing must
be used which is appropriate for the prevailing
conditions, in order to protect the elements of the
system (pump, tank, ducts, jets, etc.).
Filling with pure water is prohibited under
all circumstances (risk of freezing,
limestone deposits, etc.).
AdBlue (BlueHDi)
An alert is triggered when the reserve level is
reached.
For more information on Indicators and in
particular the AdBlue range indicators, refer to
the corresponding section.
To avoid the vehicle being immobilised in
accordance with regulations, you must top up the
AdBlue tank.

the corresponding section.
Checks
Unless otherwise indicated, check these
components in accordance with the
manufacturer's service schedule and according
to your engine.
Otherwise, have them checked by a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualified workshop.
Only use products recommended by
PEUGEOT or products of equivalent
quality and specification.
In order to optimise the operation of
components as important as those in the
braking system, PEUGEOT selects and offers
very specific products.
12 V battery
The battery does not require any maintenance.
However, check regularly that the terminals
are correctly tightened (versions without quick
release terminals) and that the connections are
clean.

to take before any work on the 12 V battery, refer to the corresponding section.
Versions equipped with Stop & Start are fitted with a 12 V lead-acid battery of specific technology and specification.
Its replacement should be carried out only by
a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Air filter
Depending on the environment and the
use of the vehicle (e.g. dusty atmosphere,
city driving), change it twice as often, if
necessary .

In the event of a breakdown

► Tilt lever 1 downwards to release the
terminals.
► Remove terminals 2 from the negative (-)
terminal.
Wait approximately 6 minutes after
switching off the ignition before
disconnecting the battery.
Do not disconnect the terminals while the
engine is running.
Do not charge a battery without disconnecting
the terminals first.
Close the windows and the doors before
disconnecting the battery.
After reconnecting the battery, turn on the ignition and wait 1 minute before starting the engine, to enable the electronic systems to
initialise. If minor problems nevertheless persist
following this operation, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualified workshop.
It is recommended to disconnect the (-) terminal of the battery if the vehicle is to be left unused for more than one month.
The description of the battery charging
procedure is only indicative.
After prolonged battery disconnection, it may be
necessary to reinitialise the following functions:
– the display parameters (date, time, language, distance and temperature units),– the stations of the audio system,– the central locking.Some settings are cancelled and must be
entered once again; contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
If the vehicle is equipped with a tachograph or
an alarm, it is recommended that the (-) terminal of the battery (located under the floor on the
left-hand side, in the cab) be disconnected if the
vehicle is not going to be used for more than 5
days.
Starting using another
battery
Never start the engine by connecting a
battery charger.
Never use a 24 V or higher battery booster.
Check beforehand that the backup battery
has a nominal voltage of 12 V and a capacity
at least equal to that of the discharged
battery.
The two vehicles must not be in contact with
each other.
Switch off all the electrical consumers on both
vehicles (audio system, wipers, lighting, etc.).
Make sure that the jump leads are not close
to the moving parts of the engine (fan, belt,
etc.).
Do not disconnect the (+) terminal while the
engine is running.

The positive metallic terminal A is accessible
through a flap located on the side of the fuse
box.
Connect only to the terminals indicated
and illustrated above. In case of
non-compliance, risk of short circuit!
