Selecting menus and settings
There are three options to operate the display:
● via buttons below the display● by touching the touchscreen with
the finger

Vehicle personalisation 3 108.
Powerflow This menu displays the current
energy flow within the hybrid system.
The components will be highlighted
when they are active.
1. Press m.
2. Select Flow.
Different colours show which engine
is used and whether energy is
regenerated.
● green: electric engine operating
● orange: combustion engine operating
● blue: regenerating energy
Average consumption This menu displays the average
power and fuel consumption during
the current trip. The current trip is
subdivided into time steps. For each

is displayed. The time steps can be
modified.
1. Press m.
2. Select Statistics.
3. Press + and - to modify the time
steps.
Power consumption
The consumption of electrial power is displayed in kWh/100 km.
● The green bars show the electric
energy comsumed from the
battery.
● The blue bars show the electric energy generated from the
braking and deceleration phasesof the vehicle. This energy is
partially used to recharge the
battery.Fuel consumption
The orange bars show the average fuel consumption in litre per 100
kilometres.
eSave function
This function allows to provide
electrical energy of the high voltage
battery for a later use, e.g. for driving
in areas restricted to electrical
vehicles. It is possible to reserve the
complete electrical energy of the
battery or a part of it.
Note
If the energy requested exceeds the energy of the high voltage battery,
the combustion engine charges the
battery. This results in a loss of
performance and a higher fuel
consumption.
The function can be activated in the
Colour Info Display.
1. Press m.
2. Select eSave.
3. Select the distance for which electrical is to be reserved or
reserve the whole capacity of the
high voltage battery.
4. Press ON.

Door unlock: Driver only :
Changes the configuration to unlock the driver's door only or all
doors when pressing O on the
remote control.
Door unlock: Boot only : Activates
or deactivates unlocking the
tailgate only when pressing T
on the remote control.
Motorised tailgate/door :
Activates or deactivates the
opening or closing of the power
tailgate.
Hands-Free opening : Activates
or deactivates the function.
● Safety
Recommended speed display :
Activates or deactivates the
speed limit information by traffic
sign recognition.
Active safety brake : Activates or
deactivates active emergency
braking and the forward collision
alert, the alert sensitivity can be
selected.
Mirror adaptation in reverse :
Adjusts the exterior mirrors if
reverse gear is engaged to
facilitate sidewalks visibility.

Adjust the air flow by turning Z to the
desired speed.

Press A/C to switch on cooling. The
LED in the button illuminates to
indicate activation. Cooling is only
functional when the engine is running and fan is switched on.
Press A/C again to switch off cooling.
The air conditioning system cools and
dehumidifies (dries) as soon as the
outside temperature is slightly above
the freezing point. Therefore,
condensation may form and drip from
under the vehicle.
If no cooling or drying is required,
switch off the cooling system for fuel
saving reasons.
Activated cooling may inhibit
Autostops.
Stop-start system 3 139.
Air recirculation system
Press 4 to activate air recirculation
mode. The LED in the button
illuminates to indicate activation.
Press 4 again to deactivate air
recirculation mode.
9 Warning
The exchange of fresh air is
reduced in air recirculation mode.
In operation without cooling the air

The air conditioning system cools and
dehumidifies (dries) when outside
temperature is above a specific level. Therefore condensation may form
and drip from under the vehicle.
If no cooling or drying is required,
switch off the cooling system for fuel

Manual air recirculation 4
Press 4 to activate the air
recirculation mode. The LED in the
button illuminates to indicate
activation.
Press 4 again to deactivate
recirculation mode.9 Warning
The exchange of fresh air is
reduced in air recirculation mode.
In operation without cooling, the
air humidity increases, so the
windows may mist up from inside.
The quality of the passenger
compartment air deteriorates,
which may cause the occupants to
feel drowsy.
In warm and very humid ambient air
conditions, the windscreen may mist
up from outside, when cold air is
directed towards it. If windscreen
mists up from outside, activate
windscreen wiper and deactivate l.
Demisting and defrosting the
windows à
● Press à. The LED in the button
illuminates to indicate activation.
● Temperature and air distribution are set automatically and the fan
runs at high speed.
● Switch on air conditioning by pressing A/C, if required.
● Switch on heated rear window b.
● Switch on heated windscreen ,.
● To return to previous mode, press à again. To return to
automatic mode, press AUTO.

To ensure the pedal travel is uninhibited, there must be no mats in the area of the pedals.
Use only floor mats, which fit properly
and are fixed by the retainers on the
driver side.Steering
If power steering assist is lost
because the engine stops or due to a system malfunction, the vehicle can
be steered but may require increased
effort.Starting and operating
New vehicle running-in Do not brake unnecessarily hard for
the first few journeys.
During the first drive, smoke may
occur because of wax and enginge oil evaporating off the exhaust system.Park the vehicle in the open for a
while after the first drive and avoid
inhaling the fumes.
During the running-in period, fuel and
engine oil consumption may be
higher.
Additionally, the cleaning process of
the exhaust filter may take place more
often.
