MP3 is one of the audio compression meth-
ods contained in the MPEG audio standard, and reduces the quality of sounds that are be-
yond the auditory resolution of the human ear
and that are hidden by louder sounds, thus
creating high-quality data with a lower data size.
This can compress CD audio to approximate-
ly 1/10 its original data size without percepti-

mat from Microsoft. This is a compression format that has a higher compression ratio
than MP3.
