Stow objects in a suitable place. This function is
available only forve hicles with a
mo vable rear ben chseat.
The components of there ar ben chseat can be
mo ved. You can mo vetheright-hand and leT-hand
parts toget her with the centre part independent ly
of each other. #
LiT release handle 1and slide the cor re-
sponding part of the bench seat into the
desired position. #

seat is not engaged
The seat does not engage when folded for-
wa rds. The seat can fold backwards unexpect-
edl y,e.g. when accelerating, braking or in the
eve nt of an abrupt change of direction or an
accident.
Pe ople in the seat's sweep can become trap-
ped. #
If a seat is folded forw ards, alw aysfo ld it
back before driving o.. #

Yo u can fold the seat backrests on the second
ro w of seats forw ards forth efo llowing situations:
R For easier access tothe luggage compartment
Yo u can set the seat backrest todi.erent angles. If
yo u no longer requ ire the seat backrest tobe
fo lded down forget ting in and out, fold it back
into place. #
Hold the seat backrest in place with your hand
or bac k. #
Gently pull one of release loops 1and fold

Re peatedly switching on the seat heating can
cause the seat cushion and seat backrest pad-
ding tobecome very hot.
In particular, the health of persons with limited
te mp erature sensitivity or a limited ability to
re act tohigh temp eratures may be a.ected or
th ey may even su.er burn-like injuries. #
Do not repeatedly switch on the seat
heating. To
protect against overheating, the seat heating
may be temp orarily deactivated aTer it has been
switched on repeatedl y.

When leaving theve hicle, alw aysta ke the
ke y with you and lock theve hicle. When
the easy entry and exitfeature is active, the
driver's seat will mo vebackwards and the bac k-
re st will be mo vedto a steeper position when:
R You switch the ignition o. when the driver's
door is open
R You open the driver's door when the ignition is
switched o. %
The driver's seat will then mo vebackwards
only if it is not already at there ar of the seat
adjustment range.
The seat backrest will then mo ve forwards
only if it is not already at the front of the bac k-
re st adjustment range.
The driver's seat will mo veback tothe last drive
position when:
R You switch the ignition on with the driver's
door closed.
R You close the driver's door when the ignition is
switched on
The last drive position will be sa ved when:
R You switch the ignition o..
R You call up the seat settings via the memory
function.

and if it is hot, they could be scalded. Yo u
