Oil Pressure :Oil pressure is
displayed in either kilopascal (kPa)
or in pounds per square inch (psi).
Oil pressure can vary with engine
speed, outside temperature, and oil
viscosity. On some models, the oil
pump will vary engine oil pressure
according to engine needs. Oil
pressure may change quickly as the
engine speed or load varies. This is
normal. If the oil pressure warning
light or Driver Information Center
(DIC) message indicates oil
pressure outside the normal
operating range, check the vehicle's
oil as soon as possible.
Driver Information Center
(DIC) (Uplevel)
The DIC displays are shown in the
center of the instrument cluster in
the Info App. See Instrument Cluster
(Base and Midlevel) 0103 or
Instrument Cluster (Uplevel) 0107.
The displays show the status of
many vehicle systems.
worx: Press to move up or
down in a list.
oorp: Press to move between
the interactive display zones in the
cluster.
V: Press to open a menu or select
a menu item. Press and hold to
reset values on certain screens.
Info Page Options
The info pages on the DIC can be
turned on or off through the
Options menu.

through the list of possible
information displays.

Vwhile an item is
highlighted to select or
deselect that item. When an
item is selected, a checkmark

Info Pages
The following is the list of all
possible DIC info page displays.
Some may not be available for your
particular vehicle. Some items may
not be turned on by default but can
be turned on through the Options
app. See “Info Page Options”
earlier in this section.
Speed : Shows the vehicle speed in
either kilometers per hour (km/h) or
miles per hour (mph). If equipped,
press
Vto open the menu and
select to display speed limit signs.

Air Quality Sensor
This setting switches the system
into Recirculation Mode based on
the quality of the outside air.
Touch Off, Low Sensitivity, or High
Sensitivity.
Auto Cooled Seats
When enabled, this feature will
automatically activate ventilated
seats at the level required by the
interior temperature. SeeHeated
and Ventilated Front Seats 044.
Touch Off or On.
Auto Heated Seats
When enabled, this feature will
automatically activate the heated
seats at the level required by the
interior temperature. The auto
heated seats can be turned off by
using the heated seat buttons on
the center console. See Heated and
Ventilated Front Seats 044.
Touch Off or On. Auto Defog
This setting automatically turns the
front defogger on when the engine
is started.
Touch Off or On.
Auto Rear Defog
This setting automatically turns the
rear defogger on when the engine is
started.
Touch Off or On.
Collision/Detection Systems
Touch and the following may
display:

This feature will set the type of alert
received from the driver assistance
systems to help avoid crashes,
either Beeps or Safety Alert Seat
vibration pulses.
Touch Beeps or Safety Alert Seat.
Forward Collision System
This setting controls the vehicle
response when detecting a vehicle
ahead of you. The Off setting
disables all FCA and AEB functions.
With the Alert and Brake setting,
both FCA and AEB are available.
The Alert setting disables AEB. See
Automatic Emergency Braking
(AEB)

Touch Off, Alert, or Alert and Brake.
Front Pedestrian Detection
This feature may help avoid or
reduce the harm caused by
front-end crashes with nearby
pedestrians.

Seat Entry Memory
This feature automatically recalls
the previously stored 1 or 2 button
positions when the ignition is
changed from off to on or ACC/
ACCESSORY. SeeMemory Seats

Seat Exit Memory
This feature automatically recalls
the previously stored exit button
positions when the ignition is
changed from on or ACC/
ACCESSORY to off if the driver
door is open or opened. See
Memory Seats 041.

Valet Mode
This will lock the infotainment
system and steering wheel controls.
It may also limit access to vehicle
storage locations, if equipped.
To enable valet mode:
1. Enter a four-digit code on the keypad.
2. Select Enter to go to the confirmation screen.
3. Re-enter the four-digit code.
Touch Lock or Unlock to lock or
unlock the system. Touch Back to
go back to the previous menu.

Universal Remote System
Programming
If equipped, these buttons are in the
overhead console.
This system can replace up to three
remote control transmitters used to
activate devices such as garage
door openers, security systems, and
home automation devices. These

Dual Automatic Climate Control System
With this system the heating, cooling, and ventilation in the vehicle can be
controlled.

The system automatically controls
the following four functions to heat
or cool the vehicle to the desired
temperature:
.
Fan Speed
. Air Delivery Mode
. Air Conditioning
. Recirculation
When the AUTO indicator light is lit,
all four functions are operating
automatically. Each function can be
manually set and the selected
setting will be shown. This cancels
full automatic operation and the
AUTO indicator light turns off.
Functions that are not manually set
will continue to be automatically
controlled, although the AUTO
indicator light will not be lit.
To place the system in
automatic mode: 1. Press AUTO.
2. Set the driver and passenger temperature.

To find your comfort setting,
start with 22 °C (72 °F) and
allow the system time to
stabilize. Then adjust the
temperature as needed for best
comfort.
To improve fuel efficiency and to
cool the vehicle faster, recirculation
may be automatically selected in
warm weather.
The recirculation light will not come
on when automatically controlled.
Press
@to manually select
recirculation; press it again to select
outside air.
Do not cover the solar sensor on the
top of the instrument panel near the
windshield. This sensor regulates
air temperature based on sun load.
See “Sensor” later in this section.
Manual Operation
O:Press to turn the climate control
system on or off. When off, no air
will flow into the vehicle. Turning the
fan on, pressing any other button,
or turning a knob will turn the
system back on.
9: Turn clockwise or
counterclockwise to increase or
decrease the fan speed. Press the
knob to turn the fan off.
Press AUTO to return to automatic
operation.
Driver and Passenger
Temperature Control : The
temperature can be adjusted
separately for the driver and
passenger.
Turn the knob clockwise or
counterclockwise to increase or
decrease the driver or passenger
temperature setting.
SYNC : Press to link the passenger
temperature settings to the driver
setting. The SYNC indicator light will
turn on. When the passenger
temperature settings are adjusted,
the SYNC indicator light is off.
The driver side or passenger side
temperature display shows the
temperature setting increasing or
decreasing. Air Delivery Mode Control :
PressY,\,[, or-to change
the direction of the airflow. An
indicator light comes on in the
selected mode button.
Changing the mode cancels the
automatic operation and the system
goes into manual mode. Press
AUTO to return to automatic
operation.
Y: Air is directed to the instrument
panel outlets.
\: Air is divided between the
instrument panel and floor outlets.
[: Air is directed to the floor
outlets, with some to the windshield,
side window outlets, and second
row floor outlets.
-: This mode clears the windows
of fog or moisture. Air is directed to
the windshield, floor outlets, and
side window vents.

{Warning
Do not use gasoline or starting
aids, such as ether, in the air
intake. They could damage the
engine, which may not be
covered by the vehicle warranty.
They could also cause a fire,
which could cause serious
personal injury.
Stop/Start System
This vehicle has a Stop/Start
system to shut off the engine to help
conserve fuel. It has components
designed for the increased number
of starts.
{Warning
The automatic engine Stop/Start
feature causes the engine to shut
off while the vehicle is still on. Do
not exit the vehicle before shifting
to P (Park). The vehicle may
restart and move unexpectedly.(Continued)

Always shift to P (Park), and then
turn the ignition off before exiting
the vehicle.
Auto Engine Stop/Start
When the brakes are applied and
the vehicle is at a complete stop,
the engine may turn off. When
stopped, the tachometer displays
AUTO STOP. See Tachometer
0 110. When the brake pedal is
released or the accelerator pedal is
pressed, the engine will restart.
To maintain vehicle performance,
other conditions may cause the
engine to automatically restart
before the brake pedal is released.
Auto Stops may not occur and/or
auto restarts may occur because:
. The climate control settings
require the engine to be running
to cool or heat the vehicle
interior.
. The vehicle battery charge
is low. .
The vehicle battery has recently
been disconnected.
. Minimum vehicle speed has not
been reached since the last
Auto Stop
. The accelerator pedal is
pressed.
. The engine or transmission is
not at the required operating
temperature.
. The outside temperature is not
in the required operating range.
. The vehicle is in any gear other
than D (Drive).
. Tow/Haul Mode or other driver
modes have been selected.
. The vehicle is on a steep hill or
grade.
. The driver door has been
opened or driver seat belt has
been unbuckled.
. The hood has been opened.
. The Auto Stop has reached the
maximum allowed time.

4. The P indicator will turn whiteand the gear indicator will turn
red when the vehicle is no
longer in P (Park).
If the vehicle cannot shift out of
P (Park), a Driver Information
Center (DIC) message will be
displayed. See your dealer for
service.
Diesel Engine Only
Vehicles with a diesel engine do not
have manual park release. To shift
to N (Neutral) with the engine off. 1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Put the ignition in service mode. See Ignition Positions

3. Apply the brake pedal.
4. Press and hold the N (Neutral) button until N is illuminated
in red.
5. When N (Neutral) is no longer needed, shift to P (Park) and
turn the ignition off. Manual Park Release (Gasoline
Engine Only)
Vehicles with a gasoline engine may
include a manual park release that
can be used to shift the vehicle into
N (Neutral) when the engine is not
running.
{Warning
The transmission will be placed in
N (Neutral) when the manual park
release is pulled. The vehicle can
roll and you or others could be
injured. Ensure the vehicle is on
level ground.
Caution
The manual park release is not
intended to be used for towing.
Damage may result from using
the manual park release in this
way. The repairs would not be
covered by the vehicle warranty. Pulling the manual park release
while the vehicle is on, or turning
the ignition on while the manual
park release is pulled, will result in a
Service Transmission message
being displayed.
To place the vehicle in N (Neutral)
using the manual park release:
1. Ensure the vehicle is on level ground and set the parking
brake. Release the brake
pedal.
2. Turn the vehicle off.
