operation. Determine which oil viscosity
best suits the temperature range you
expect to encounter for the next service
interval from the following SAE viscosity
grade chart.
Note:
For severe duty service, use SAE
5W-40 API CK-4. Note:
For bio-diesel fuel blends (B20 max),
use SAE 5W-40 API CK-4.
Note: An engine block heater is
recommended at temperatures below -9°F
(-23°C).
Note: Do not use supplemental engine oil
additives because they are unnecessary and
could lead to engine damage that your
vehicle warranty does not cover.
