KEYLESS ACCESS SYSTEMF
Keyless Access enables operation of the doors and trunk/liftgate without\
removing the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter from a pocket or purse. The transmi\
tter must be
within 3 feet of the door being unlocked or within 3 feet of the trunk/l\
iftgate.
KEYLESS UNLOCKING
With the transmitter within range:
Press the button on the driver’s door handle to unlock the driver’s door; press it again within 5 seconds to unlock all doors and the trunk/liftgate.
Press the button on the passenger’s door handle to unlock all doors and the trunk/liftgate.
Press the touchpad above the rear license plate to open the trunk/liftga\
te.
KEYLESS LOCKING
With the ignition off, the transmitter out of the vehicle, and all doors\
closed:
Press the button on any door handle to lock all doors and the trunk/lift\
gate immediately.
If Passive Locking is turned on, all doors and the trunk/liftgate will l\
ock automatically after a short delay once all doors and the trunk/liftgate are closed.
Note: To change the door lock settings, go to Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, Start.

KEYLESS (PUSHBUTTON) STARTF
The Remote Keyless Entry transmitter must be in the vehicle to turn on t\
he ignition.
STARTING THE ENGINE
With the transmission in Park, press the brake pedal and then press the ENGINE START/STOP button. The green button indicator will illuminate.
STOPPING THE ENGINE/OFF
Shift to Park and press and hold the ENGINE START/STOP button.
ACCESSORY MODE
With the engine off and the brake pedal not depressed, press the ENGINE START/STOP button to place the vehicle in accessory mode. The amber button indicat\
or will illuminate.

SETTING CRUISE CONTROL
1. Press the On/Off button. The Cruise Control symbol will illuminate in white on the instrument cluster.
2. When traveling at the desired speed, rotate the thumbwheel down to the SET/– position to set the speed. The symbol will illuminate in green on the instrument cluster.
Note: Cruise Control does not operate at speeds below 25 mph. The automatic transmission may downshift to maintain the set speed when traveling down a steep grade.
CRUISE CONTROLF
ADJUSTING CRUISE CONTROL
RES/+ Resume/Accelerate
Rotate the thumbwheel up to resume a set speed.
When the system is active, rotate the thumbwheel up to increase speed.
SET/– Set/Coast
When the system is active, rotate the thumbwheel down to decrease speed.\
Cancel
Press to cancel the Cruise Control but retain the set speed in memory.
Pressing the brake pedal also will cancel the Cruise Control.
The set speed is erased when Cruise Control or the vehicle ignition is t\
urned off.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
MANUAL MODE
Manual Mode allows the driver to shift gears manually. This feature can be used to drive the vehicle in a sportier manner or to down-shift when driving on a downhill grade to
provide engine braking.
1. Move the shift lever to the Manual (M) position.
2. Press the + (plus) or – (minus) button on the side of the shift lever to upshift or downshift. The current gear will be displayed on the Driver Information Center.
If vehicle speed is too high or too low for the requested gear, the shif\
t will not occur. When coming to a stop, the transmission will downshift automatically.

REAR WIPER AND WASHER
(5-door model only)
Press the switch on the end of the lever to operate the rear wiper.

Washer Fluid
Push the lever away from you to spray washer fluid on the rear window.
Note: The rear wiper will automatically activate when the vehicle is in Reverse and the windshield wipers are turned on.

Move the lever up or down to operate the windshield wipers.

Rotate the band to adjust the delay between wipes. The wipers activate more often as the band is rotated upward.
