Lift the handle to open the glove box.
Close until it latches. Use the vehicle
key to lock or unlock.
Cupholders
Front Cupholders
Cupholders in the center console are
under a cover. Do not place items on
the cover.
To open, slide the cover forward.

Center Console Storage
Press the button to access the storage
area under the armrest. There may be
an additional storage tray inside.
There are two USB ports and an
SD card slot inside.
There are two charge-only USB ports
on the rear of the center console.
Rear Storage
If equipped with storage in the back
center console, pull the handle to
access.

Features
Cargo Cover
{Warning
The cargo cover crossbars must be
locked and fully engaged to prevent
movement. An unsecured cargo
cover could strike people in a
sudden stop or turn, or in a crash.
Store the cargo cover securely or
remove it from the vehicle.
{Warning
Do not place objects on the cargo
cover. Sudden stops or turns can
cause objects to be thrown in the
vehicle. You or others could be
injured.

{Warning
To avoid personal injury, keep
hands clear of cover hinge points
while folding the cargo cover.
The cargo cover is used to cover items
in the cargo area. It is foldable and
stores in the cargo storage bin under
the load floor when not in use.Installing the Cargo Cover
1. Slide the seat belt into the clip
on the side of the vehicle Do this
for both sides.
2. Remove the cargo cover from the storage bag.
3. Unroll the cargo cover.
4. Hold the cargo cover with the lock buttons facing up and the
longest crossbar facing the front
of the vehicle.
5. Open both crossbars until thecenter hinge locks. Keep fingers
clear of the crossbar hinges to
avoid being pinched.

Remove the cargo management
system tray (2) by pulling on the
handles (1).
Convenience Net
This vehicle may have a convenience
net in the rear of the vehicle. Attach it
to the cargo tie-downs for storing
small loads.
Do not use the net to store heavy
loads.
Roof Rack System
{Warning
If something is carried on top of the
vehicle that is longer or wider than
the roof rack—like paneling,
plywood, or a mattress —the wind
can catch it while the vehicle is
being driven. The item being carried
could be violently torn off, and this
could cause a collision and damage
the vehicle. Never carry something
longer or wider than the roof rack
on top of the vehicle unless using a
GM certified accessory carrier.
If equipped, the roof rack can be used
to load items. For roof racks that do
not have crossrails included, GM
certified crossrails can be purchased
as an accessory. See your dealer.
Caution
Loading cargo on the roof rack that
weighs more than 100 kg (220 lb) or
hangs over the rear or sides of the
vehicle may damage the vehicle. Do
not load cargo exceeding 100 kg
(220 lbs) and always load cargo so
that it rests evenly between the
crossrails and does not block the
vehicle lamps or windows. Fasten
the cargo securely.

Windshield Wiper/Washer
With the ignition on or in ACC/
ACCESSORY, move the windshield
wiper lever to select the wiper speed.
HI :Use for fast wipes.
LO : Use for slow wipes.
AUTO : If equipped with Rainsense,
use this setting for intermittent wipes
when Rainsense is disabled,
or Rainsense wipes when Rainsense is
enabled. For intermittent wipes, move
the windshield wiper lever to AUTO,
then turn the band up for more
frequent wipes or down for less
frequent wipes. If Rainsense is turned
on, see “Rainsense ”later in this
section.
OFF : Use to turn the wipers off.
1X : For a single wipe, briefly move
the wiper lever down. For several
wipes, hold the wiper lever down.
f: Pull the windshield wiper lever
toward you to spray windshield
washer fluid and activate the wipers.
The wipers will continue until the
lever is released or the maximum
wash time is reached. When the
windshield wiper lever is released,
additional wipes may occur depending
on how long the windshield washer
has been activated. See Washer Fluid
0 273 for information on filling the
windshield washer fluid reservoir. Clear snow and ice from the wiper
blades and windshield before using
them. If frozen to the windshield,
carefully loosen or thaw them.
Damaged blades should be replaced.

{Warning
In freezing weather, do not use the
washer until the windshield is
warmed. Otherwise the washer fluid
can form ice on the windshield,
blocking your vision.
{Warning
Before driving the vehicle, always
clear snow and ice from the hood,
windshield, roof, and rear of the
vehicle, including all lamps and
windows. Reduced visibility from
snow and ice buildup could lead to
a crash.

antenna, StabiliTrak/Electronic
Stability Control (ESC), and vehicle
speed information.
The compass system is designed to
operate for a certain number of miles
or degrees of turn before needing a
signal from the GPS satellites. When
the compass display shows CAL, drive
the vehicle for a short distance in an
open area where it can receive a GPS
signal. The compass system will
automatically determine when a GPS
signal is restored and provide a
heading again.
Clock
The time and date for the clock can be
set using the infotainment system. See
“Time/Date”in “System ”under
“Settings ”in the infotainment manual.
Power Outlets
Power Outlets 12-Volt Direct Current
The vehicle has two 12-volt outlets
that can be used to plug in electrical
equipment, such as a cell phone or
MP3 player.
The power outlets are located:
.
Under the front of the center
console.
. In the rear cargo area.
Lift the cover to access the outlet and
replace when not in use.
{Warning
Power is always supplied to the rear
cargo power outlet. Do not leave
electrical equipment plugged in
when the vehicle is not in use
because the vehicle could catch fire
and cause injury or death.
Caution
Leaving electrical equipment
plugged in for an extended period
of time while the ignition is in
LOCK/OFF will drain the battery.
Always unplug electrical equipment
when not in use and do not plug in
equipment that exceeds the
maximum 15 ampere rating.
Certain accessory plugs may not be
compatible with the accessory power
outlet and could overload vehicle and
adapter fuses. If a problem is
experienced, see your dealer.
When adding electrical equipment, be
sure to follow the proper installation
instructions included with the
equipment. See Add-On Electrical
Equipment 0256.

English Uplevel
The Electric Parking Brake (EPB)
status light comes on when the
parking brake is applied. If the light
continues flashing after the EPB is
released, or while driving, there is a
problem with the EPB system.
A message may also display on the
Driver Information Center (DIC).
If the light does not come on,
or remains flashing, see your dealer.
Service Electric Parking
Brake Light
The service electric parking brake light
should come on briefly when the
vehicle is started. If it does not come
on, have it fixed so it will be ready to
warn if there is a problem. For
vehicles with the reconfigurable
cluster, this light may not come on
when the vehicle is started.
If this light stays on, the vehicle
should be taken to a dealer as soon as
possible. See Electric Parking Brake
0 198. A message may also display in
the Driver Information Center (DIC).
Antilock Brake System
(ABS) Warning Light
This warning light should come on
briefly when the vehicle is turned on.
If the light does not come on, have it
fixed so it will be ready to warn if
there is a problem. If the light comes on while driving,
safely stop as soon as it is possible
and turn off the vehicle. Then turn on
the vehicle again to reset the system.
If the ABS warning light stays on,
or comes on again while driving, the
vehicle needs service. A chime may
also sound when the light stays on.
If the ABS warning light is the only
light on, the vehicle has regular
brakes, but ABS is not functioning.
If both the ABS warning light and the
brake system warning light are on,
ABS is not functioning and there is a
problem with the regular brakes. See
your dealer for service.
