48 Seats and Restraints The heated or ventilated seat
indicator lights do not turn on during
a remote start.
The temperature performance of an
unoccupied seat may be reduced.
This is normal.
The remote start heated or
ventilated seats may be enabled or
disabled in the vehicle
personalization menu. See Remote
Vehicle Start 0 15 and
Vehicle Personalization 0 137 .
Massage If equipped, the ignition must be on
to use the massage feature. If equipped, press the massage
button to use the massage feature.
To stop massage, press this button
again.
The massage feature will turn off
after approximately 10 minutes.
Press the massage button to restart
the massage feature. Rear Seats Rear Seat Reminder If equipped, the message REAR
SEAT REMINDER LOOK IN REAR
SEAT displays under certain
conditions indicating there may be
an item or passenger in the rear
seat. Check before exiting the
vehicle.
This feature will activate when a
second row door is opened while
the vehicle is on or up to 10 minutes
before the vehicle is turned on.
There will be an alert when the
vehicle is turned off. The alert does
not directly detect objects in the rear
seat; instead, under certain
conditions, it detects when a rear
door is opened and closed,
indicating that there may be
something in the rear seat.
The feature is active only once each
time the vehicle is turned on and off,
and will require reactivation by
opening and closing the second row
doors. There may be an alert even
when there is nothing in the rear
seat; for example, if a child entered

To fold the second row seatbacks:
1. Remove anything on or under
the seat.
2. Pull up on the reclining
seatback handle. The seatback
will move forward and fold flat
on top of the cushion. Do not
place anything on the seat
during this operation.
To return the seatback to the
seating position, lift the seatback
and push it rearward until it locks
into place. Push and pull on the
seatback to make sure it is locked. Heated Rear Seats
{ WarningIf temperature change or pain to
the skin cannot be felt, the seat
heater may cause burns. See the
Warning under Heated and
Ventilated Front Seats 0 46 .
If available, the buttons are on the
rear of the center console. With the engine running, press
M or
L to heat the left or right outboard
seat cushion. An indicator on the
climate control display appears
when this feature is on.
This feature turns on at the highest
setting. With each press of the
button, the heated seat changes to
the next lower setting, and then the
off setting. Three lights indicate the
highest setting, and one light
indicates the lowest. If the heated
seats are on high, the level may
automatically be lowered after
approximately 30 minutes.
Third Row Seats

Using the third row seating
position while the second row is
folded, or pushed forward in the
entry position, could cause injury
in a sudden stop or crash. Be
sure to return the seat to the

Controls Steering Wheel
Adjustment
To adjust the steering wheel:
1. Pull the lever down.
2. Move the steering wheel up
or down.
3. Pull or push the steering wheel
closer or away from you.
4. Pull the lever up to lock the
steering wheel in place. Do not adjust the steering wheel
while driving.
Power Tilt and Telescoping
Steering Wheel
To adjust the steering wheel,
if equipped:
Press the control up or down to tilt
the steering wheel up or down.
Press the control forward or
rearward to move the steering wheel
closer or away from you.
Do not adjust the steering wheel
while driving. Steering Wheel Controls The infotainment system can be
operated by using the steering
wheel controls. See "Steering
Wheel Controls" in the infotainment
manual.
Heated Steering Wheel
( : If equipped, press to turn on or
off. A light near the button displays
when the feature is turned on.
The steering wheel takes about
three minutes to reach
maximum heat.

For more washer cycles, press and
hold the lever.
The rear window wiper/washer will
not operate if the liftgate is open or
ajar. If the liftgate is opened while
the rear wiper is on, the wiper
returns to the parked position and
stops.
Rear Wiper Arm Assembly
Protection
When using an automatic car wash,
move the rear wiper control to OFF
to disable the rear wiper. In some
vehicles, if the transmission is in
N (Neutral) and the vehicle speed is
very slow, the rear wiper will
automatically park.
The wiper operations return to
normal when the transmission is no
longer in N (Neutral) or the vehicle
speed has increased.
Reverse Gear Wipes
If the rear wiper control is off, the
rear wiper will automatically operate
continuously when the vehicle is in
R (Reverse) and the front windshield wiper is performing low
or high speed wipes. If the rear
wiper control is off, the vehicle is in
R (Reverse), and the front
windshield wiper is performing
interval wipes, then the rear wiper
automatically performs interval
wipes.
This feature can be turned on or off.
See Vehicle Personalization 0 137 .
The windshield washer reservoir is
used for the windshield and the rear
window. Check the fluid level in the
reservoir if either washer is not
working. See Washer Fluid 0 263 .
Rear Camera Washer If equipped, push the windshield
wiper lever forward to spray washer
fluid on the rear camera lens. The
lever returns to its starting position
when released. See Rear Camera
Mirror 0 32 .
Compass The vehicle may have a compass
display on the Driver Information
Center (DIC). The compass receives
its heading and other information
from the Global Positioning
System (GPS) antenna, StabiliTrak/
Electronic Stability Control (ESC),
and vehicle speed information.
The compass system is designed to
operate for a certain number of
miles or degrees of turn before
needing a signal from the GPS
satellites. When the compass
display shows CAL, drive the
vehicle for a short distance in an
open area where it can receive a
GPS signal. The compass system
will automatically determine when a
GPS signal is restored and provide
a heading again.

ACCESSORY, or Retained
Accessory Power (RAP) must be
active. The wireless charging
feature may not correctly indicate
charging when the vehicle is in RAP.
See Retained Accessory Power
(RAP) 0 186 .
The operating temperature is − 20 °C
( − 4 °F) to 60 °C (140 °F) for the
charging system and 0 °C (32 °F) to
35 °C (95 °F) for the smartphone.
{ WarningRemove all objects from the
charging pad before charging
your compatible smartphone.
Objects, such as coins, keys,
rings, paper clips, or cards,
between the smartphone and
charging pad will become very
hot. On the rare occasion that the
charging system does not detect
an object, and the object gets
wedged between the smartphone
and charger, remove the
(Continued) Warning (Continued) smartphone and allow the object
to cool before removing it from
the charging pad, to prevent
burns.
To charge a compatible smartphone:
1. Remove all objects from the
charging pad. The system may
not charge if there are any
objects on the charging pad.
2. Place the smartphone face up
on the charging pad. To maximize the charge rate,
ensure the smartphone is fully
seated and centered in the
holder with nothing under it.
A thick smartphone case may
prevent the wireless charger
from working, or may reduce
the charging performance. See
your dealer for additional
information.
3. The
$ will appear on the
V on
the infotainment display. This
indicates that the smartphone
is properly positioned and
charging. If a smartphone is
placed on the charging pad
and
$ does not display, remove
the smartphone from the pad,
turn it 180 degrees, and wait
three seconds before placing/
aligning the smartphone on the
pad again.
The smartphone may become
warm during charging. This is
normal. In warmer
temperatures, the speed of
charging may be reduced.

Use the right steering wheel control
to open and scroll through the
different items and displays.
Press

k to change between the
cluster applications at the top of the
display. The currently selected
application will be highlighted. Press
l or
g within an application to
scroll through a list of available
application options. Not all
applications will be available on all vehicles. Some may be temporarily
restricted when the vehicle is off or
in ACC/ACCESSORY.

The home page is a view of
information that can be turned on or
off by the driver via the Home Page
settings in the Options menu. Audio Press

k to select the Audio
menu. In the Audio menu browse for
music, select from the favorites,
or change the audio source. Use

g to change the station or go to
the next or previous track.
Navigation Press
h or
k to select the Navigation
menu. If there is no active route,
you can resume the last route and
turn the voice prompts on/off.
If there is an active route, press
Vto cancel or resume route guidance
or turn the voice prompts on or off.
Phone
Press
h or
k to select the Phone
menu. In the Phone menu, if there is
no active phone call, view recent
calls, or scroll through contacts.
If there is an active call, mute the
phone or switch to handset
operation.

Info Pages : While the Options
application is highlighted, press

g to select Info Pages, then

V to enter the Info
Pages menu. Home Page Options : Select the
available elements to display. Not all
elements will be available on all
vehicles: Speedometer, Active
Safety, Speed Sign, Time,
Temperature, and Fuel Range.
Speed Warning : The Speed
Warning display allows the driver to
set a speed that they do not want to
exceed. While the Options
application is highlighted, press
lor
g to select Speed Warning, then
press
V to enter the Speed
Warning menu.
Press
l or
g to adjust the value.
Press
V to set the speed.
