REMOVABLE SOFT TOP

The car is equipped with a soft top
fig. 109 that can be removed manually
and combines ease of use and total
protection against weather agents.
The soft top can be stored in a suitable
container inside the luggage
compartment after having been removed.
To remove the soft top, proceed as
follows:
❒ release the two central locking
devices 1 fig. 110 inside the car by
rotating them by ¼ turn anti-clockwise;

❒ at the side of the car, with the door
open, press the rail downwards to de-
tension the soft top, then move the two
side devices 2 fig. 111 inwards and lift
the soft top end part releasing it from the
retainers;
❒ package the first side of the soft top
rolling it up to the centre line;
❒ proceed in the same way for the other
side of the soft top;
❒ remove the soft top with both sides
rolled and store it in the suitable
container inside the luggage
compartment.
❒ before placing it in the dedicated
container it is necessary to cover the
central pins 1 Fig. 112 with the
appropriate buffer included in the supply
to prevent damage to the soft top fabric
during the packaging.

To position again the soft top on the car,
proceed as follows:
❒ open the doors;
❒ take the soft top from the luggage
compartment and place it in the centre
line; the front side can be recognised by
the presence of the safety visor fig. 110;
❒ unroll the soft top inserting it under
the spoiler and making sure that it is
correctly positioned;
❒ turn the rail upwards and insert in the
side centring pins of the soft top in the
respective housings
fig. 113 on the car being careful to insert
the front pin and the rear pin;❒ press the side devices 2 inwards
fig. 114 and turn the rail downwards;
❒ leave the handles and complete the
rail rotation pressing it until you hear the
closing click of the lock;
❒ check that the devices 2 are
completely closed fig. 115;
❒ proceed in the same way for the other
side of the soft top;

❒ position the two central devices
1 fig. 110 in the suitable housing inside the
car and rotate them by ¼ turn clockwise
to lock them. Check the correct insertion of
the pins into their seats and make sure the
grab ring is in horizontal position.
The fixing is carried out correctly and the
soft top is ensured only when the ring is
located in a horizontal position
(not vertical, or at 45°).
IMPORTANT NOTES
❒ It is advisable to install the soft top
after parking the car.
The closed top effectively protects the
car from rain and from theft.

Direction indicators
To replace the bulb, proceed as follows:
❒ steer the wheel completely;
❒ open the protective flap
1 fig. 117 by rotating the fixing screw;
❒ rotate the plug 1 fig. 118
anti-clockwise and remove the bulb
holder;

❒ rotate the bulb 2 fig. 119 to release it
from the retainers and remove it;
❒ replace the bulb making sure it is
correctly locked;
❒ close the protective flap 1 fig. 117.
Side lights/daytime running lights
(DRL)
These are LEDs. For the replacement
contact a dedicated Alfa Romeo
Dealership.

Dipped/main beam headlights
(versions with halogen headlights)
To replace the bulb, proceed as follows:
❒ steer the wheel completely;
❒ open the protective flap 2 fig. 117 by
rotating the fixing screw;
❒ take out the electric connector
1 fig. 120 and then rotate the bulb holder
2 anticlockwise and remove it;
❒ emove the bulb and replace it;
❒ refit the new bulb, making sure that it
is locked correctly, and reconnect the
connector 1;
❒ close the protective flap 2 fig. 117.
