The interior lights come on in the following situations: • When either of the doors are opened.
• You unlock the driver’s door.
• When the power mode is set to VEHICLE OFF.

The interior lights remain off regardless
whether the doors are open or closed.

In the door activated position, the interior lights fade
out and go off about 30 se conds after the doors are
closed.
The lights go off after about 30 seconds in the
following situations: • When you unlock the driver’s door but do not open
it.
• When you set the power mode to VEHICLE OFF but
do not open a door.
You can change the interi or lights dimming time.

The interior lights go off im mediately in the following
situations:
• When you lock the driver’s door.
• When you close the driver’s door in ACCESSORY mode.
• When you set the power mode to ON.
To avoid draining the 12-vo lt battery, do not leave
the interior light on for an extended length of time
when the power system off.
If you leave either door open in VEHICLE OFF mode,
the interior lights go of f after about 15 minutes.

The accessory power socket can be used when the power mode is in ACCESSORY or

Do not insert an automotive type cigarette lighter
element.
The accessory power socket can overheat.
The accessory power socket is designed to supply
power for 12-volt DC accessories that are rated 180
watts (15 amps) or less.
To prevent draining the 12-volt battery, use the
accessory power socket only when the power system on.
When the accessory power soc ket is not in use, close
the cover to prevent any small foreign objects from
getting into the accessory power socket.

The power mode must be in ON to use the
seat heaters.
Press the seat heater button:
Once - The HI setting (three indicators on)
Twice - The MID setting (two indicators on)
Three times - The LO setting (one indicator on)
Four times - The OFF se tting (no indicators on)
When the power mode is turned on after it is
turned off, the previous setting of seat heaters
is maintained.

Do not use the seat heaters even in LO when the power system is off. U nder such conditions, the 12-
volt battery may be weakened, making the power
system difficult to start.

Audio System Theft Protection
The audio system is disabled when it is disconnected from the power source, such as
when the 12-volt battery is disconnected or goes dead. In certain conditions, the
system may display a code entry screen. If this occurs, reactivate the audio system. ■Reactivating the audio system
1. Set the power mode to ON.
2. Turn on the audio system.
3. Select and hold the (power/audio) icon for more than two seconds.
uThe audio system is reac tivated when the audio co ntrol unit establishes a
connection with the vehicle control unit. If the control unit fails to recognize
the audio unit, you must go to an authorized Acura NSX dealer and have the
audio unit checked.

1. Information Collection, Use, Transmission and Storage of Data. Consent to Use of Data:
You agree that HONDA and PROVIDERS may
collect and use your information gathered in any manner as part of product support services related to the SOFTWARE or related services.
HONDA may share such information with third parties, including, without limitation, PROVIDERS, th ird party software and services
suppliers, their affiliates and/or their desi gnated agents, solely to improve their products or to provide services or technolo gies to you.
HONDA, third party software and systems s uppliers, their affiliates and/or their designated agent may disclose this information to others,
but not in a form that pe rsonally identifies you.
2. Information Storage.
Depending on the type of multimedia system you have in your VEHICLE, certain information may be stored for ease
of use of the SOFTWARE including, without limitation, search hi story, location history in certain applications, previous and saved
destinations, map locations within certain applications, and device numbers and contact information.
(a) Vehicle Health Information.
Your VEHICLE may remotely trans mit information regarding the status and health of your VEHICLE
(“VEHICLE INFORMATION”) to HONDA without notification to you. VEHICLE INFORMATION may contain VEHICLE maintenance and
malfunction status that is derived from VEHICLE diagnostic data and includes, but is not limited to, status of powered doors and windows,
battery life data, battery charging data, VEHICLE speed, coolant temperat ure, air compressor revolution, output power, warning codes,
diagnostic trouble codes, fuel injection volu me, and engine rotations per minute. VEHICL E HEALTH INFORMATION may be used by HON DA
for research and development, to deliver HONDA SERVICES and information to you, and to contact you, and is retained only for a period
of time necessary to fulfill these goals.
(b) VEHICLE Geolocation Data (non-navigation/map based).
If you opt-in to geolocation-based SERVICES, your vehicle’s geolocation data
(latitude and longitude) will be automatically se nt from your VEHICLE to HONDA and PROVIDERS.
(c) You understand that the inputting or uploading of information to your VEHICLE’s multimedia syst em or the SOFTWARE or SERVICES is
at your own risk and that HONDA is not responsible for unauthorized access to or use of any personal or other information. All information
uploaded to the SOFTWARE and SERVICES may be stored on your VEHI CLES’s multimedia system and you understand that the security and
safety of your VEHICLE’s multimedia system is your sole responsibility.

■ To pair a cell phone (when there is no
phone paired to the system)
1. Select Phone .
2. Select Yes.
3. Make sure your phone is in search or
discoverable mode, then select Continue.
uHFL automatically searches for a
Bluetooth® device.
4. Select your phone when it appears on the
list.
uIf your phone does not appear, you can select Refresh to search again.
uIf your phone still does not appear, select
Phone Not Found and search for
Bluetooth ® devices using your phone.
From your phone, search for
HandsFreeLink .
5. The system gives you a pairing code on the
audio/information screen.
uConfirm if the pairing code on the screen
and your phone match.
This may vary by phone.

Phone Pairing Tips: • You cannot pair your phone while the vehicle is

• Up to six phones can be paired.

• If your phone is not ready for pairing or not found
by the system within three minutes, the system will time out and return to idle.
Once you have paired a phone, you can see it
displayed on the screen with one or two icons on the right side.
These icons indicate the following: : The phone can be used with HFL.: The phone is compatible with Bluetooth® Audio.
If there is an active c onnection to Apple CarPlay,
pairing of additional Bluetooth-compatible devices is
unavailable and Add Bluetooth Device is grayed
out from the Bluetooth Device List screen.

Is a subscription-based service that provid
es convenient features such as voice
communication in case of an airbag deployment, online security, and one-on-one
operator assistance.
For information on traffic rerouting and traffi c information updates, provided by the
AcuraLink server, see the Na vigation System Manual.
■ Automatic collision notification
If your vehicle’s airbags deploy or if the unit detects that the vehicle is severely
impacted, your vehicle will automatically attempt to connect to the AcuraLink
operator. Once connected, information about your vehicle, its positioning, and its
condition will be sent to the operator; you also can speak to the operator when
connected.

Your vehicle may not be able to connect to the
operator if the battery level is low, the line is
disconnected or you do not have adequate cellular
coverage.
You cannot use the Assist services when:
• You travel outside the AcuraLink service coverage
areas.
• There is a problem with the connecting devices,
such as the ASSIST button, microphone, speakers,
or the unit itself.
• You are not subscribed to the service or your subscription is no longer valid.
You cannot operate othe r navigation- or phone-
related functions using the screens while talking to
the operator. Only the operator can terminate the connection to
your vehicle.
