When driving
Trailer towing Toyota does not recommend towi ng a trailer with your vehicle.
Toyota also does not recommend the installation of a tow hitch or
the use of a tow hitch carrier f or a wheelchair, scooter, bicyc le, etc.
Your Toyota is not designed for trailer towing or for the use o f tow
hitch mounted carriers.

NOTICE■ To avoid serious damage to your vehicle
Do not tow your vehicle with four wheels on the ground.Your vehicle is not designed to be dinghy towed (with 4 wheels on
the ground) behind a motor home.

Press . The mode switches between outside air mode (introduces air from out-
side the vehicle) (indicator off) and recirculated air mode (re cycles air
inside the vehicle) (indicator on) each time the button is pres sed.
Adjusting the position of the air outlets
Center outlets
Direct air flow to the left or right,
up or down.
Right and left side outlets
Direct air flow to the left or right,
up or down. When defrosting the side win-
dows, face the right and left side
outlets toward them.

● The bottle may not be stored depending on its size or shape.
WARNING■ Items unsuitable for the bottle holder
Do not place anything other than a pet bottle in the bottle hol ders.
Other items may be thrown out of the holders in the event of an accident or
sudden braking and cause injury.

Put the cap on before stowing a bottle. Do not place open bottles in the bot-
tle holders, or glasses and paper cups containing liquid. The c ontents may

mixed Super Long Life Coolant
BLUE” is pre-mixed with 50%
coolant and 50% deionized
water.

Air conditioning filter The air conditioning filter must be changed regularly to mainta in air
conditioning efficiency.
■ Removal method
Vehicles without a smart key system
Turn the engine switch off.
Vehicles with a smart key system
Turn the “ENGINE START STOP” switch off.
Open the glove box. Slide off
the damper.
Push in each side of the glove
box and pull the glove box
toward you to disconnect the

Replacing light bulbs
■ Front side marker lights
Turn the steering wheel in the
opposite direction of the light to
be replaced. Turn the steering wheel to a point
that allows your hand to easily fit
between the tire and fender liner.
Remove the clips and partly
remove the fender liner. To prevent damage to the vehicle,
cover the tip of the screwdriver
with a rag.
Release the light's claw. Insert the screwdriver into the
hole. While firmly pushing the
screwdriver forward, move it
towards the inside of the vehicle.
To prevent damage to the vehicle,
wrap the tip of the screwdriver
