Deactivating the rear
controls for the rear electric
windows
The red indicator lamp in the button comes
on, accompanied by a message confirming
activation of the system. It remains on for as
long as the deactivation is maintained.
Use of the rear electric windows from the
driver's controls remains possible. For your children's safety, press control 5 to
deactivate the switches at the rear electric
windows, irrespective of their positions.
Reinitialising the electric
windows
Following reconnection of the battery, the
safety anti-pinch function must be reinitialised.
The safety anti-pinch function is not active
during these operations.
For each window:

ring the window down completely, then
bring it back up. It will go up by a
few
centimetres each time. Per form the
operation until the window is fully closed,
-

ontinue to pull the switch for at least one
second after reaching the window closed
position. In the event of contact (pinching) during
operation of the windows, you must
reverse the movement of the window. To
do this, press the switch concerned.
When operating the passenger electric
window switches, the driver must ensure
that nothing is preventing correct closing
of the windows.
The driver must ensure that the
passengers use the electric windows
c o r r e c t l y.
Be particularly aware of children when
operating the windows.
Be aware of passengers or other persons
present when closing the windows using
the electronic key or the

"

F Turn the lever outwards.
F P ush it fully to secure the window in the
open position.

F Pull the lever to release the window.
F T urn the lever fully inwards to secure the
window in the closed position.

Floor boxes
If the indicator lamp is lit orange:
- r emove the portable device, then place it
back in the middle of the charging zone.

emove the portable device and try again in
a
quarter of an hour.
If the problem persists, have the system
checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
There are two storage boxes located beneath
the rear passenger footwells.

o open them, slide your fingers into the
notch and lift the cover.
Aircraft style tables
Do not place hard or heavy objects on the
table. In the event of sharp deceleration,
these objects could become projectiles.

o put the table in place, pull it upwards.
As a safety precaution, the aircraft style table
unhooks itself if excessive pressure is applied.

o put the table back in place, pull it
downwards.
Side blinds
They are fitted to the windows of the sliding
side doors (depending on version).
To avoid damaging the blind:

uide it slowly using the tab, both up
and down.

ake sure the tab is properly secured
before opening the door.

Air flow
If you place the air flow control to the
minimum position (system off), the
temperature in the vehicle will no longer
be controlled. A slight air flow can still be
felt however, resulting from the for ward
movement of the vehicle.

designed to operate effectively in all seasons,
with the windows closed.
It allows you:

conditioning system.
When the air conditioning is in operation, to
cool the air more quickly, you can use interior

some discomfort (humidity, misting).

When the engine is cold, the air flow will
only reach its optimum level gradually
to prevent too much cold air being
distributed.
In cold weather, it favours the distribution
of warm air to the windscreen, the side
windows and the footwells only.
Manual mode
If you wish, you can make a different choice
f rom that offered by the system by changing
a
setting. The other functions will still be
automatically managed.
The " AUTO " symbol disappears if you change
a


setting.
Deactivating the system
F Press button 2 " -" until the fan symbol
disappears.
This action switches off all of the functions of
the system.
Temperature is no longer controlled. A slight air
flow can still be felt, however, resulting from the
for ward movement of the vehicle.
Temperature
The driver and front passenger can each set
the temperature to suit their requirements.
The value shown on the display is a
level
of comfort, not a
temperature in Celsius or
Fahrenheit.

ush button 1 down to decrease the value
or up to increase it.
A setting of around 21
provides optimum
comfort. Depending on your requirements,
a setting between 18
and 24 is normal.
In addition, it is recommended that you
avoid a
left /right setting difference of more
than 3.
On entering the vehicle, if the interior
temperature is much colder or warmer
than the comfort value setting, there is no
need to alter the value displayed in order
to reach the required level of comfort. The
system compensates automatically and
corrects the temperature difference as
quickly as possible.

again. For maximum cooling or heating of the
passenger compartment, it is possible
to exceed the minimum value 14
or the
maximum value 28.

can be indexed to the driver's comfort setting
(mono-zone).
The system automatically manages the air
conditioning, air flow and air intake, and
provides optimum distribution towards the
windscreen and side windows.

Recirculation of interior air
The intake of exterior air prevents the formation
of mist on the windscreen and side windows.
Recirculation of the interior air isolates the
passenger compartment from exterior odours

This allows hot or cold air to be delivered
more quickly when required.

These markings on the control panel
indicate the control positions for
rapid demisting or defrosting of the
windscreen and side windows.

F Press this button to demist or defrost the windscreen and side
windows as quickly as possible.
The system automatically manages the air
conditioning, air flow and air intake, and

Heated windscreen
In area 1
, the heating makes ice melt and
allows you to free the wiper blades.
In area 2 , the heating improves visibility by
preventing the accumulation of snow when the
wipers are operating.
Heated windscreen and washer jets
For more information on the Wiper
control stalk and in particular the heated
windscreen and washer jets, refer to the
corresponding section. Depending on country of sale.
This function heats the windscreen in cold
weather.

To maintain the effectiveness of the flat
wiper blades, it is advisable to:

void using them to retain cardboard
on the windscreen,

eplace them at the first signs of wear.

operations from the driver's side.

tarting with the wiper blade farthest from
you, hold each arm by the rigid section and
raise it as far as possible.
The windscreen wipers operate automatically
once rain is detected (sensor behind the
rear view mirror), adapting their speed to the

Curtain airbags
If fitted to your vehicle, this is a system that
c ontributes towards greater protection for the
driver and passengers (with the exception of
the central seats) in the event of a
serious side
impact, in order to limit the risk of injury to the
side of the head.
Each curtain airbag is built into the pillars and
the upper passenger compartment area.
Deployment
The airbags are deployed on one side in the
event of a serious side impact applied to all
or part of the side impact zone, perpendicular
to the longitudinal centreline of the vehicle
on a
horizontal plane and directed from the
outside towards the inside of the vehicle.
The curtain airbag inflates between the outer
rear passenger and the windows.
The airbags may no longer be deployed in the
event of a
serious impact.
In the event of a
minor impact or bump on
the side of the vehicle or if the vehicle rolls
over, the airbags may not be deployed.
In the event of a
rear or front collision,
none of the lateral airbags is deployed.
Advice
For the airbags to be fully effective,
observe the safety recommendations
below.
Adopt a
normal and upright sitting
position.
Wear a
correctly adjusted seat belt.
Do not leave anything between the
occupants and the airbags (a child, pet,
object, etc.), nor fix or attach anything
close to or in the way of the airbag release
trajectory; this could cause injuries during
their deployment.
Never modify the original definition of your
vehicle, particularly in the area directly
around the airbags.
After an accident or if the vehicle has
been stolen, have the airbag systems
checked.
All work on the airbag systems must be
carried out by a
PEUGEOT dealer or
a


qualified workshop.
Even if all of the precautions mentioned
are obser ved, a risk of injury or of minor
burns to the head, chest or arms when an
airbag is deployed cannot be ruled out.
The airbag inflates almost instantly (within
a
few milliseconds) then deflates within
the same time discharging the hot gas via
openings provided for this purpose. Front airbags
Do not drive holding the steering wheel
by its spokes or resting your hands on the
centre part of the wheel.
Passengers must not place their feet on
the dashboard.
Do not smoke as deployment of the
airbags can cause burns or the risk of
injury from a
cigarette or pipe.
Never remove or pierce the steering wheel
or hit it violently.
Do not fix or attach anything to the
steering wheel or dashboard, as this
could cause injuries when the airbags are
deployed.
Curtain airbags
Do not fix or attach anything to the roof,
as this could cause head injuries when the
curtain airbag is deployed.
If fitted to your vehicle, do not remove the
grab handles installed on the roof, they
play a


part in securing the curtain airbags.
