Front seats
PEUGEOT i-Cockpit
Before going out on the road and to benefit from the
ergonomic layout of the PEUGEOT i- Cockpit, adjust in
the following order:
-
t
he height of the head restraint,
-

t
he seat backrest angle,
-
t

he seat cushion height,
-

t
he longitudinal position of the seat,
-
t

he depth and then the height of the steering wheel,
-

t
he rear view mirror and door mirrors.
Before carrying out the manoeuvres, check
that nothing and no one is obstructing the
moving elements and their locking.
To avoid sudden folding, take care to
hold the backrest and support it until it is
horizontal.
Never put your hand underneath the seat
cushion to guide the seat downwards
or upwards, you could get your fingers
trapped. Place your hand on the grip/strap
(depending on equipment) at the top of the
seat cushion.
Please note: an incorrectly latched
backrest compromises the safety of
passengers in the event of sudden braking
or an impact.
The contents of the boot may be thrown
for ward – risk of severe injury!
Adjustments
Forwards-backwards
Height
(driver only)
F If fitted to your vehicle, pull the control upwards to raise or push it downwards to
lower, as many times as necessary to obtain
the position required.

Ra
ise the control and slide the seat
forwards or backwards.
Once these adjustments have been made,
ensure that from your driving position you can
see the "head-up" instrument panel clearly,
over the reduced diameter steering wheel.

Heated seat control
With the 2-seat front bench seat, the driver's
seat control switches on or switches off the
heating of the outer seat of the bench seat.Do not use the function when the seat is
not occupied.
Reduce the intensity of the heating as
soon as possible.
When the seat and passenger
compartment have reached an adequate
temperature, you can stop the function;
reducing the consumption of electrical
current reduces fuel consumption.
Press the switch.
The temperature is controlled automatically.
Pressing a second time stops operation.
Prolonged use at the highest setting is
not recommended for those with sensitive
skin.
There is a risk of burns for people whose
perception of heat is impaired (illness,
taking medication, etc.).
There is a risk of overheating the system if
material with insulating properties is used,
such as cushions or seat covers.
Do not use the system:

f wearing damp clothing,
-
i
f child seats are fitted.
To avoid breaking the heating element in
the seat:

o not place heavy objects on the seat,
-
d
o not kneel or stand on the seat,
-
d
o not place sharp objects on the seat,
-
d
o not spill liquids onto the seat.
To avoid the risk of short-circuit:
- d o not use liquid products for cleaning
the seat,

ever use the heating function when
the seat is damp.
2-seat front bench seat
Central seat
Table position
F To lower the backrest, pull the tongue under the lower edge of the seat.
The backrest of the central place on the bench
seat tilts to form a working sur face and thus
obtain a mobile office (when stopped).

Folded position
This position allows the transport of high loads
inside the cab.
To replace the seat, push on the yellow crank
under the seat and lower the assembly until the
seat locks into position on the floor.F

ift the yellow crank at the base of the seat
to unlock and lift the assembly into folded
position (seat raised against the backrest)
until it locks.
Never put your hand underneath the seat
cushion to guide the seat downwards or
upwards, you could get your fingers trapped.
Place your hand on the front of the seat
cushion.
Before carrying out these manipulations,
check that nothing and nobody is obstructing
the moving elements and their locking.
Rear bench seat
For safety reasons, seat adjustments
must only be made when the vehicle is
stationary.
Folding the backrests
First steps:

f necessary, move the front seats for ward,

heck that nothing or no person might
inter fere with the folding of the backrests
(clothing, luggage, etc.),

heck that the outer seat belts are lying flat
on the backrests. The folding of the backrest is
accompanied by a slight lowering of the
corresponding seat cushion.
When the backrest is released, the red
indicator is visible in the release grips on
the outer seats.

On the floor, behind the front seats, a
vertical partition protects the driver and front
passengers against the risk of load movement.
Steel or glass partitions separate the loading
area from the cab.When washing your vehicle, never clean
the inside directly using a water jet.
Stowing ringsUse the stowing rings on the rear floor to
secure your loads.
As a safety precaution in case of sharp braking,
you are advised to place heavy objects as far
for wards towards the cab as possible.
It is recommended that the load be secured
firmly using the stowing rings on the floor.
When washing your vehicle, never clean
the inside directly using a water jet.
Recommendations on
loading
The weight of the load must comply with
the Gross Train Weight (GTW).

If you are using a carrying system (roof
bars/roof rack), comply with the maximum
loads associated with this system.

Make sure that the size, shape and
volume of the loads carried are compatible
with the highway code and safety
regulations and do not impair the driver’s
field of vision.

other hand to release it.

tow it behind the driver’s seat, turning the
control at the top of the flap upwards to lock
it.
It has the 2-seat front bench seat and a
removable flap.

A partition located on the floor behind the front
seats protects the driver and front passengers
against the risk of load movement.
A movable flap on this partition can be removed
to allow long items to be loaded.
A protective cover is provided in the vehicle to
ensure that long items can be transported in
complete safety.

until its indicator lights up to
select the system; this indicator
lamp appears in green in the
instrument panel.

hen the vehicle begins its descent, you
can release the accelerator and brake
pedals; the system regulates the speed:
The system becomes active at a speed below

mph (30 km/h).

f the gearbox is in first or second
gear, the speed decreases and
the warning lamp flashes rapidly,

f the gearbox is in neutral or if
the clutch pedal is depressed,
the speed decreases and the
warning lamp flashes slowly;
in this case, the maintained
descent speed is lower. During a descent, with the vehicle stationary, if
you release the accelerator and brake pedals,
the system will release the brakes to set the
vehicle gradually in motion.
The brake lamps light up automatically when
the system is regulating.
If the speed exceeds 18
mph (30 km/h),
regulation is paused automatically, the warning
lamp goes back to grey in the instrument panel,
but the indicator lamp in the button remains lit.
Regulation resumes automatically when the
speed falls below 18
mph (30 km/h) again, and
the slope and pedal release conditions are met.
You can depress the accelerator or brake pedal
again at any time.
Switching off
F Press this button until its indicator lamp goes off; the indicator lamp also goes off in
the instrument panel.
Above 43
mph (70 km/h), the system is
automatically deactivated; the indicator lamp in
the button goes off.
Malfunction
If a fault occurs with the system,
this warning lamp comes on,
accompanied by the display of a
message in the instrument panel.
Seat belts
Front seat belts
The front seat belts are fitted with a pyrotechnic
pretensioning and force limiting system.
This system improves safety in the front
seats in the event of a front or side impact.
Depending on the severity of the impact, the
pretensioning system instantly tightens the seat
belts against the body of the occupants.
The pretensioning seat belts are active when
the ignition is on.
The force limiter reduces the pressure of the
seat belt on the chest of the occupant, thus
improving their protection. Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.

2-seat front bench seat
If your vehicle is fitted with a front bench seat,
ensure that each belt is used with its correct
buckle.
Do not interchange the driver's seat belt or
buckle with the centre seat belt or buckle.
Rear seat belts Seat belt(s) warning lamp
With individual front seats
On switching on the ignition, this warning lamp
comes on if a seat belt is not fastened or is
unfastened.
From approximately 12
mph (20 km/h),
the warning lamp flashes for 2


minutes,
accompanied by an audible signal.
Once these 2
minutes have elapsed, the
warning lamp remains on until the driver and/or
the passenger fasten their seat belt.
With 2-seat front bench seat (and
the driver’s seat)
On switching on the ignition, this warning lamp
comes on if the driver's seat belt is not fastened
or is unfastened.
On switching on the ignition, this warning
lamp comes on if a passenger's seat belt is
unfastened.
From approximately 12
mph (20 km/h),
the warning lamp flashes for 2


minutes,
accompanied by an audible signal.
Once these 2
minutes have elapsed, the
warning lamp remains on until the driver
fastens their seat belt.
Each of the rear seats is fitted with a seat belt
without a pyrotechnic pretensioner and without
a force limiter.
Be sure to put the correct seat belt in the
correct buckle.
Do not interchange the belts or buckles for the
outer seats with the belt or buckle for the centre
seat.
