Adjustment
As a safety measure, the mirrors should
be adjusted to reduce the blind spots.
The objects obser ved are, in reality, closer
than they appear.
Take this into account when assessing
the distance of vehicles approaching from
behind.
Manual folding
You can manually fold the mirrors (parking
obstruction, narrow garage, etc.)

urn the mirror towards the vehicle.
Electric folding
F Move control A or turn control C (depending on the version you have) to the right or to
the left to select the corresponding mirror.

ove control B or C (depending on
the version you have) in any of the four
directions to adjust.

eturn control A or C (depending on the
version you have) to its centre position.
If your vehicle is fitted with this function, the
mirrors can be folded electrically from the inside,
with the vehicle parked and the ignition on:
Electric unfolding
The electric unfolding of the mirrors is via
the remote control or the key when unlocking
the vehicle. Unless folding was selected with
control A , pull the control back again to the
central position.
The folding/unfolding on locking/unlocking
can be deactivated. Contact a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualified workshop.
If necessary, it is possible to fold the
mirrors manually. F

Rear view mirror
Equipped with an anti-dazzle system, which
darkens the mirror glass and reduces the
nuisance to the driver caused by the sun,
headlights of other vehicles, etc.

directed correctly in the "day" position. Day/night position
Automatic "electrochrome"
model
This system automatically and progressively
changes between day and night use by means
of a sensor measuring the light coming from the
rear of the vehicle.
In order to ensure optimum visibility during
your manoeuvres, the mirror lightens
automatically when reverse gear is
engaged.

General recommendations
for the seats
For safety reasons, seat adjustments
must only be made when the vehicle is
stationary.
Folding or unfolding the seat backrests must
only be done with the vehicle stationary.
Before moving the seat backwards,
ensure that there is no object or person in
the way, preventing full travel of the seat.
There is a risk of trapping or pinching
passengers if they are in the rear seats
or jamming the seat if large objects are
placed on the floor behind the seat.
Do not place hard or heavy objects on
the backrests forming a table. They could
become dangerous projectiles in the event
of sudden braking or a collision.

stowing it; secure it to a support inside

Never use the table while the vehicle is
moving.
Any object on the table will become a
dangerous projectile that could cause
injury in the event of sudden braking or
collision.
Your vehicle may also be fitted with a pivoting
table.

o straighten the backrest, stow the table
then guide it until it locks.
During operations, take care not to jam the
tongue under the seat cushion.
Each time you lock the seat in the sitting
position, make sure that passengers have
access to the seat belt end pieces and the
associated straps.
Side seat
Retractable position
This position allows transporting long cargo
inside the vehicle with the doors closed.
When retracted, the maximum weight on the
backrest is 50
kg.
To replace the seat, lift the backrest until the
seat locks into position on the floor.
Storage compartment under seat
F Lift the central seat to access the storage compartment. This space can be secured
by fitting a padlock (not supplied). F
P ull the tongue on the top edge of the seat
near the head restraint to tilt and guide the
assembly.
It is placed in the floor of the front seat and thus
forms a continuous flat floor with the loading
space.

On the floor, behind the front seats, a
vertical partition protects the driver and front
passengers against the risk of load movement.
Steel or glass partitions separate the loading
area from the cab.When washing your vehicle, never clean
the inside directly using a water jet.
Stowing ringsUse the stowing rings on the rear floor to
secure your loads.
As a safety precaution in case of sharp braking,
you are advised to place heavy objects as far
for wards towards the cab as possible.
It is recommended that the load be secured
firmly using the stowing rings on the floor.
When washing your vehicle, never clean
the inside directly using a water jet.
Recommendations on
loading
The weight of the load must comply with
the Gross Train Weight (GTW).

If you are using a carrying system (roof
bars/roof rack), comply with the maximum
loads associated with this system.

Make sure that the size, shape and
volume of the loads carried are compatible
with the highway code and safety
regulations and do not impair the driver’s
field of vision.

Firmly secure all parts of the load using
the stowing rings on the floor of the
loading area.
For more information on the Interior
fittings and in particular on the stowing
rings, refer to the corresponding section. To avoid the risk of injury or accident,
the load must be made stable so that it
cannot slide, tip over, fall or be projected.
To do this, use only retaining straps that
conform to the current standards (DIN, for
example).
For more information on putting straps
in place, refer to the manufacturer’s user
guide.
There must not be any open space
between the components of the load.
When there is the risk of the load sliding,
there must not be any open space
between the load and the panels of the
vehicle.
As well as the straps, optimise the stability
of the load with stable handling equipment
(wedges, rigid blocks of wood or padding).
When washing your vehicle, never clean
the inside directly using a water jet.
For the Multi-Flex bench
seat and the Crew cab
Do not place sharp or pointed objects in
the protective cover to avoid damaging it.Do not place objects on the dashboard.
Avoid placing short or heavy loads in the
protective cover; use the loading area
whenever possible.
The load must be evenly distributed in the
loading area so as not to inter fere with
driving the vehicle.
Place the load close to the side panels,
or even push it against the side panels
between the wheel arches.
However, it is recommended that heavy
objects are placed as close to the cab as
possible as a precaution in case of sharp
braking.
Deactivate the front
passenger airbag when
carrying long objects.
For more information on Deactivating
the front passenger airbag , refer to the
corresponding section.
Avoid anchoring loads or hanging items on
the wall of the partition.
For your safety, make sure that small
objects do not slip through the gaps of
about 3 cm between the partition and the
vehicle's bodywork.

other hand to release it.

tow it behind the driver’s seat, turning the
control at the top of the flap upwards to lock
it.
It has the 2-seat front bench seat and a
removable flap.

A partition located on the floor behind the front
seats protects the driver and front passengers
against the risk of load movement.
A movable flap on this partition can be removed
to allow long items to be loaded.
A protective cover is provided in the vehicle to
ensure that long items can be transported in
complete safety.

The indicator lamp in the button is on when the
function is activated.
The function is deactivated automatically if a
passenger uses the temperature control.
Visibility programme
F Press " Visibility" button 7 to demist or
defrost the windscreen and side windows
more quickly.
The system automatically manages the air
conditioning, air flow and air intake, and
provides optimum distribution towards the
windscreen and side windows.

programme.

automatic comfort programme.
Air conditioning
With the engine running, the air conditioning is
designed to operate effectively in all seasons,
with the windows closed.
It allows you:

n summer, to lower the temperature,

o increase the effectiveness of the
demisting in winter, above 3°C.
On/off
F Press button 5 to activate/deactivate the air conditioning system.
When the air conditioning is in operation, to
cool the air more quickly, you can use interior
air recirculation for a few moments by pressing
button 4 . Then return to the intake of exterior
a i r.
The air conditioning does not operate
when the air flow adjustment is set to off.
Switching the system off may result in
some discomfort (humidity, misting).
Air distribution

The symbol for air flow (a fan) appears. It is
filled in or emptied progressively according to
the value requested.
Recirculation of interior air
The intake of exterior air prevents the formation
of mist on the windscreen and side windows.
Recirculation of the interior air isolates the
passenger compartment from exterior odours
and fumes.
This allows hot or cold air to be delivered
more quickly when required.

ress button 4 to recirculate the interior air/
permit the intake of exterior air.
Avoid prolonged use of recirculation
of the interior air – risk of misting and
deterioration of air quality!
