As a passenger, if you avoid connecting your
multimedia devices (film, music, video game
etc.), you will contribute towards limiting the
consumption of electrical energy, and so of
fuel.
Disconnect your portable devices before
leaving the vehicle.
Eco- driving
Eco-driving is a range of everyday practices that allow the motorist to optimise their fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
Optimise the use of your
gearbox
With a manual gearbox, move off gently and
change up without waiting. While accelerating,
change up early.
With an automatic gearbox, give preference
to automatic mode and avoid pressing the
accelerator pedal heavily or suddenly.
The gear shift indicator invites you to engage
the most suitable gear: as soon as the
indication is displayed in the instrument panel,
follow it straight away.
For vehicles fitted with an automatic gearbox,
this indicator appears only in manual mode.
Drive smoothly
Maintain a safe distance between vehicles,
use engine braking rather than the
brake pedal, and press the accelerator
progressively. These practices contribute
towards a reduction in fuel consumption and
CO
2 emissions and also help reduce the
background traffic noise.
If your vehicle has cruise control, make use of
the system at speeds above 18
  mph (40 km/h)
when the traffic is flowing well.
Control the use of your electrical
equipment
Before moving off, if the passenger
compartment is too warm, ventilate it by opening
the windows and air vents before using the air
conditioning.
Above 31
mph (50 km/h), close the windows and
leave the air vents open.
Consider using equipment that can help keep
the temperature in the passenger compartment
down (sunroof blind and window blinds...).
Switch off the headlamps and front foglamps
when the ambient light level does not require
their use.
Avoid running the engine before moving off,
particularly in winter; your vehicle will warm up
much faster while driving.
Unless it has automatic regulation, switch off
the air conditioning as soon as the desired
temperature has been reached.
Switch off the demisting and defrosting controls,
if these are not automatically managed.
Switch off the heated seat as soon as possible.

Lost keys, remote control
Go to a PEUGEOT dealer, taking with you the
vehicle's registration certificate, your personal
identification documents and if possible, the label
bearing the key code.
The PEUGEOT dealer will be able to retrieve the
key code and the transponder code required to
order a new key. Electrical interference
The
K eyless Entry and Starting remote control
may not operate if close to certain electronic
devices: telephone, laptop computer, strong
magnetic fields, etc.
Remote control
The high frequency remote control is a sensitive
system; do not operate it while it is in your pocket
as there is a possibility that it may unlock the
vehicle, without you being aware of it.
Do not repeatedly press the buttons of your
remote control out of range and out of sight of
your vehicle. You may stop it from working and
the remote control would have to be reinitialised.
The remote control does not operate when the
key is in the ignition, even when the ignition is
switched off.
Locking the vehicle
Driving with the doors locked may make access
to the passenger compartment by the emergency
services more difficult in an emergency.
As a safety precaution (with children on board),
remove the key from the ignition or take the
remote control with you when leaving the vehicle,
even for a short time. Anti-theft protection
Do not make any modifications to the electronic
engine immobiliser system; this could cause
malfunctions.
Don't forget to turn the steering to engage the
steering lock.
When purchasing a second-hand vehicle
Have the key codes memorised by a PEUGEOT
dealer, to ensure that the keys in your possession
are the only ones which can start the vehicle.

Self-protection function
The system checks for the disconnection
of any of its components.
The alarm is triggered if the battery,
button or siren wiring is disconnected or
damaged.
For all work on the alarm system, contact
a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Interior volumetric
If your vehicle is fitted with Additional
Heating/Ventilation, volumetric monitoring
is not compatible with this system.
For more information on Additional
Heating/Ventilation, refer to the
corresponding section. (without partition)
Anti-tilt monitoring
(with partition)
The system only checks the variation in volume
inside the cab .
The alarm is triggered if anyone breaks a
window or enters the cab .
It will not be triggered if someone enters the
loading area. The system checks for any variation in the
volume in the passenger compartment.
The alarm is triggered if anyone breaks a
window, enters the passenger compartment or
moves inside the vehicle. The system checks for any change in the
attitude of the vehicle.
The alarm is triggered if the vehicle is lifted or
moved.
When the vehicle is parked, the alarm will
not be triggered if the vehicle is knocked.
Locking the vehicle with full

Activation
F Switch off the engine and exit the vehicle.
F L ock the vehicle using the remote control or
the "
 K

The monitoring system is active: the red
indicator lamp in the button flashes every
second and the direction indicators come on for
about 2

seconds.
Following an instruction to lock the
vehicle, the exterior perimeter monitoring
is activated after 5
  seconds and the
interior volumetric and anti-tilt monitoring
after 45

seconds.
Exterior perimeter
The system checks whether the vehicle is opened.
The alarm is triggered if anyone tries to open one of
the doors or the bonnet.

Do not use a device with a metal case
(electric shaver, etc.).
As a safety measure, when electrical

the vehicle's electrical system (particular
weather conditions, electrical overload,
etc.), the current supply to the socket will

Wireless smartphone
charger
It allows the wireless charging of a portable
device, such as a smartphone, using the
principle of magnetic induction, based on the Qi
1.1 standard.
The portable device to be charged must be
compatible with the Qi standard, either by
design or by using a compatible holder or shell.
The charging zone is identified by the Qi
symbol.
To achieve the best results, it is necessary to
use a cable made or approved by the device
manufacturer.
These applications can be managed using the
steering mounted controls or those of the audio
system.

Automatic comfort mode
F Press the "AUTO" button 6 su c c e s s i ve l y.
The active mode appears in the display screen,
as described below: Provides soft and quiet operation by
limiting air flow.
Offers the best compromise between
a comfortable temperature and quiet
operation.
Provides dynamic and effective air
f low.
When the engine is cold, the air flow will
only reach its optimum level gradually
to prevent too much cold air being
distributed.
In cold weather, it favours the distribution
of warm air to the windscreen, the side
windows and the footwells only.
Manual mode
If you wish, you can make a different choice
from that offered by the system by changing
a setting. The other functions will still be
automatically managed.

avoid a left /right setting difference of more
than 3.
On entering the vehicle, if the interior
temperature is much colder or warmer
than the comfort value setting, there is no
need to alter the value displayed in order
to reach the required level of comfort. The
system compensates automatically and
corrects the temperature difference as

Recirculation of interior air
The intake of exterior air prevents the formation

Recirculation of the interior air isolates the
passenger compartment from exterior odours

This allows hot or cold air to be delivered
more quickly when required.
