(ABS)

Illuminates for a few seconds after the
vehicle is switched on. The system is ready for operation when the control
indicator extinguishes.

Trip odometer displays the current

certain reset.The distance counts up to

The average electrical energy
economy displays the approximate
average kWh per 100 km (kWh/100
km).
To reset, press and hold 9.
Tyre pressure (kPa)
Checks tyre pressure of all wheels
during driving 3 232.
Average speed
Display of average speed. The
measurement can be reset at any
time.
Timer
To start and stop, press 9. To reset,
press [ and confirm reset.
Traffic sign assistant
Displays the detected traffic signs for
the current route section 3 187.
Following distance
Displays the distance in seconds to a preceding moving vehicle 3 168.

The individual vehicle range impacts
provide an understanding of how electric economy are different from

All values are reset after a complete
charge and may not be stable until
approximately 16 km have been
driven.Efficiency History
The Efficiency History graph shows
the average economy over the last
50 km.
The present bar provides the average economy for the current 5 km.
Touch Reset to clear the history data.
Charging Options
To view and change the Charging
Options , touch Energy and then
Charging Options . Use the arrows to
scroll through the list.
The following list of menu items may

● Charge limit : This feature allows
the vehicle’s charge level to be selected so it matches the
capability of the charging
location.

OnStar
OnStar is a personal connectivity and
service assistant with integrated
Wi-Fi hotspot. The OnStar service is
available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Note
OnStar is not available for all
markets. For further information,
contact your workshop.
Note
In order to be available and
operational, OnStar needs a valid
OnStar subscription, functioning
vehicle electrics, mobile service and
GPS satellite link.
To activate the OnStar services and
set up an account, press Z and speak
with an advisor.

beam.
Pull stalk to deactivate high beam.
High beam assist This feature automatically activates
the high beam at night.
The camera in the windscreen
detects the lights of oncoming or
preceding vehicles. High beam can
be triggered or faded out particularly
according to the traffic situation. This
gives the best light distribution
without dazzling other road users.
Once activated, high beam assist
remains active and switches high
beam on and off depending on
surrounding conditions. The latest
setting of the high beam assist will remain after the vehicle is switched
on again.
Activation Activate high beam assist by pressing
f once. High beam is switched on
automatically at a speed above50 km/h. High beam is switched off at a speed below 35 km/h, but high
beam assist remains active.
The green control indicator f
illuminates continuously when the
high beam assist is activated, the blue one 7 illuminates when high beam is
on.

Pushing the stalk once switches on
manual high beam without high beam assist.
High beam assist switches
automatically back to low beam
when:
● Driving in urban areas.
● Reverse parking function is active.
● Rear fog light is switched on.
If there are no restrictions detected, the system switches back to high
beam.Deactivation
If high beam assist is active and high
beam is on, press f once or pull the
stalk once to deactivate high beam
assist.
If high beam assist is active and high
beam is off, press f once to
deactivate high beam assist.
Pushing the stalk to activate manual
high beam will also deactivate high beam assist.
Headlight flash in conjunction with high beam assist
Headlight flash by pulling the stalk
once will not deactivate high beam
assist when high beam is off.
Headlight flash by pulling the stalk
once deactivates high beam assist
when high beam is on.
Fault in headlight system
When the system detects a failure in
the headlight system, it selects a
preset position to avoid dazzling of
oncoming traffic. A warning is
displayed in the Driver Information
Centre.

To display a list of available Wi-Fi
networks, select Manage Wi-Fi
Networks .
To register a new network, select Add
Another Network . Follow the
instructions on the screen and enter
the network name, security type and
password. The new network appears
in the list.
To reload the existing list, select
Refresh .
To display more information on a
network, select i.
To delete a network from the list,
select Delete .
Factory defaults Press p and then select 1 in the top
left corner of the screen to display the application overview screen.
Select Settings . Scroll through the list
and select Return to factory settings .
To restore all vehicle personalisation
settings, select Reset vehicle
settings .
To delete the paired Bluetooth
devices and all related data, select
Clear all private data .To reset tone and volume settings,
delete all favourites, and erase the
ringtone selection, select Restore
radio settings .
In each case, a warning message is
displayed. Select Continue to reset
the settings.

Retrieving stations
Activate the < tab to display the
favourites list.
Select the preset screen button on
which the desired radio station is
stored.
Radio data system Radio data system (RDS) is a service
of FM stations that considerably
facilitates the finding of the desired
station and its fault-free reception.
Advantages of RDS ● On the display, the programme name of the station appears
instead of its frequency.
● During a station search, the Infotainment system tunes in to
RDS stations only.● The Infotainment system always
tunes into the best receivable
broadcasting frequency of the set station by means of AF
(alternative frequency).
● Depending on the station that is received, the Infotainment
system displays radio text that
can contain e.g. information on
the current programme.
RDS configuration To use the RDS functions, RDS has
to be activated.
Activate the FM waveband. Select
Menu to open the corresponding
waveband-specific submenu and
then select the Audio settings tab.
Activate or deactivate RDS.
Traffic programme Radio traffic service stations are RDS
stations that broadcast traffic news. If the traffic service is switched on, the
current audio source is interrupted for the duration of the traffic
announcement.
Activate the FM waveband. Select
Menu to open the corresponding
waveband-specific submenu.
Touch the screen button next to
Traffic programme to activate or
deactivate the function.
