#When leavingthevehicle, alwaystakethe SmartKeywithyou and lockthevehicle.
Ifthe easy entryandexitfeature is active,thesteering wheel will moveupwards andthe driv‐er's seat will moveback inthefollowing situa‐tions:
Ryou switchthe ignition off whenthe driver'sdoor is open
Ryou openthe driver's door whenthe ignitionis switched off
%Thesteering wheel will moveupwards onlyifit is not already as high as it will go. The driv‐er's seat will movebackwards only if it is notalready intherearmost position.
Thesteering wheel andthe driver's seat willmovebacktothe last drive position inthefol‐lowing cases:
Ryou switchthe power supplyorthe ignitionon whenthe driver's door is closed
Ryou closethe driver's door whenthe ignitionis switched on
The last drive position isstored inthefollowingsituations:
Ryou switchthe ignition off
RVehicles with memory function:call uptheseat settings viathe memory function.
RVehicles with memory function:savetheseat settings viathe memory function.
Vehicles with memory function:press one ofthe memory function saved position buttonstostopthe adjustment process.

#Only usethe memory function onthedriver's side whenthevehicle isstation‐ary.
&WARNINGRisk of entrapment when set‐tingthe seat withthe memory function
Whenthe memory function adjuststhe seatorsteering wheel,you andothervehicleoccupants – particularlychildren – couldbecome trapped.
#Duringthe setting procedure ofthememory function, ensurethat no bodyparts are inthe sweep ofthe seat orthesteering wheel.

Seat adjustmentsfor uptothree people can bestored and called up usingthe memory function.
Thefollowing settings can bestoredforthe frontseats:
RSeat, backrest, headrestraint position andcontour ofthe seat backrest inthe lumbarregion
RActive multicontour seat: side bolstersoftheseat backrest, shoulder ofthe seat backrest,contour ofthe seat backrest, dynamic func‐tion level
RSeat heating: distribution ofthe heated sec‐tions ofthe seat cushion and seat backrest
RDriver's side:steering wheel position andposition ofthe outside mirrorsonthe driver'sand front passenger sides
RHead-up Display#Setthe seat,thesteering wheel,the Head-upDisplay andthe outside mirrortothe desiredposition.
#Brieflypress memory button M andthenpress preset position button1,2 or 3 withinthree seconds.An acoustic signal sounds. The settings arestored.
