Press button 1.
The hazard warning lamps will switch on auto‐
matically if:
R the airbag has been deplo yed.
R theve hicle is heavily braked from a speed of
more than 70 km/h toast andstill. When
you pull away again, the hazard warning
lamps will switch off automatically at appr ox‐
imately 10km/h. You can also swit choff the
hazard warning lamps using button 1.
When the turn indicator is activated, the hazard

The MULTIBEAM LED headlamps adapt tothe
driving and weather situation and pr ovide exten‐
ded functions for impr oved illumination of the
ro ad.
The sy stem comprises thefo llowing functions:
R Active headla mps (/ page149)
R Cornering light (/ page150)
R Motorw ay mode (/ page150)
R Enhanced fog light function (/ page150)
R Off- road light (/ page151)
The sy stem is active only when it is dar k.Ac

R The headlamps follow thesteering mo ve‐
ments.
R Releva nt areas are better illumina ted during
tra vel.
The functions are active when the low beam is
switched on.
Depending on theve hicle's equipment, the
cou rse of the lane in which you are driving will
also be evaluated and the active headlamps
function will adjust the light in advance. Light and sight

Bleaching or dyeing seat belts can se verely
we aken them.
This can, forex ample, cause seat belts to
te ar or fail in an accident. #
Never blea chor dye seat belts. Obser

Seat belts Clean with lukewarmand soapy water. R
Do not use chemical cleaning agents.
R Do not dry seat belts byheating them toove r 80 °C or
ex posing them todirect sunlight.
Display Cleanthe sur face carefully wi tha mic rofibre clo thand a suit‐
able display care product (TFT/LCD). R
Swit choff the display and let it cool down.
R Do not use any other cleaning products.
Plastic trim R
Clean with a damp microfibre clo th.
R For heavy soiling: use care product recommended for
Mercedes-Benz. R
Do not attach sticke rs,fi lms or similar materials.
R Do not allow cosmetics, insect repellent or sun cream to
come in contact wi th the plastic trim. Maintenance and care
