Controls
Turn the headlight switch in AUTO and pull
the headlight lever to low beam.

The auto high-beam indicator comes on.
■Temporary cancellation
The auto high-beam system operatio n is temporarily canceled while:
• You are continuously driving at a speed below 15 mph (24 km/h).
• The vehicle speed is below 6 mph (10 km/h).
• The windshield wipers run at high speed for more than a few seconds.
The system operation resumes once the condit ion that caused it to cancel improves.
■To Operate the System1Auto High-Beam (High Beam Support System)*
For the auto high-beam to work properly:•Do not place an object that reflects light on the
dashboard.
•Keep the windshield around the camera clean.
When cleaning the windshield, be careful not to
apply the windshield cleans er to the camera lens.
•Do not attach an object, sticker or film to the area
around the camera.
•Do not touch the camera lens.
If the camera receives a st rong impact, or repairing of
the area near the camera is required, consult a dealer.
To help reduce the likel ihood that high interior
temperatures will cause the camera system to shut
off, when parking, find a sh ady area or face the front
of the vehicle away from the sun. If you use a
reflective sun shade, do not allow it to cover the
camera housing. Covering the camera can
concentrate heat on the camera.

Controls
■To manually cancel th e system temporarily
You can cancel the operation when you ma nually change the headlights to high
beams. Push the lever forward until you hear a click, or lightly pull the lever towards
you to flash high beams. The auto high-beam indicator goes off.
If you want the auto high-beam operation to resume at once, pull the lever towards
you.
Disable the system when the vehicle is parked
with the power mode is in ON and the light
switch is in the AUTO position.
To disable the system: Pull the light switch
lever towards you and hold it for 40 seconds.
The auto high-beam indica tor in the meter will
blink twice.
To enable the system: Pull the light switch
lever towards you and hold it for 30 seconds.
The auto high-beam indica tor in the meter will
blink once.
■To Disable the System

If the Can Not Operate: message appears:•Park your vehicle in a safe place, and clean the
windshield. If the message does not disappear after
you have cleaned the winds hield and driven for a
while, have your vehicle checked by a dealer.

engine.

Replacing Light Bulbs
Headlight Bulbs
When replacing, use the following bulbs.1.Remove the engine compartment cover.

2. Remove the clips.
3. Remove the air intake duct.
High beam headlight: 60 W (HB3 for halogen bulb type)
Low beam headlight:
LED type
55 W (H11 for halogen bulb type)

NOTICE
Halogen bulbs get very hot when lit.
Oil, perspiration, or a scratch on the glass can cause
the bulb to overhe at and shatter.
The headlight aim is set by the factory, and does not
need to be adjusted.
However, if you regularly carry heavy items in the
cargo area, have the aiming readjusted at a dealer or
by a qualified technician.
When replacing a halogen bu lb, handle it by its base,
and protect the glass from c ontact with your skin or
hard objects. If you touch the glass, clean it with
denatured alcohol and a clean cloth.Models with Auto high-beam system

Maintenance
1. Push the tab to remove the coupler.
2. Rotate the old bulb counter-clockwise to
remove.
3. Insert a new bulb into the headlight
assembly and turn it clockwise.
4. Insert the coupler into the connector of the
bulb.
Daytime Running Lights and Parking Lights
Daytime running lights and parking lights are LED type. Have an authorized Honda
dealer inspect and replace the light assembly.
Daytime running light bulbs and high beam headlight bulbs are the same.
