The following messages appear only on the driver information interface. Press the (home) button, select Warnings, then press the

•The engine oil pressure is low.•The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) comes on if
there is a problem with the emissions control
systems.
•The transmission is in a position other than (P.
While the engine is running, the vehicle will
automatically preconditi on inside the vehicle.
When it is warm outside:
•The climate control system is activated in
recirculation mode.
•The seat ventilation is activated*.
When it is cold outside:
•The defroster is activated at a moderately warm
temperature.
•The rear defogger and door mirror heaters* are
activated.

Do not park your vehicle near flammable objects,
such as dry grass, oil, or timber.
Heat from the exhaust can cause a fire.

without confirming that Park is engaged.
A vehicle that rolls away could cause a crash
resulting in seriou s injury or death.

*3: If you drive primarily in urban areas that have high concentrations of soot in the air from industry and from diesel-powered vehicles, replace every 15,000 miles (24,000 km).
*4: If you drive regularly in very high temperatures (over 110°F, 43°C), in very low temperatures (under -20°F, -29°C), replace every 60,000 miles (U.S.) /100,000 km (Canada).

have the differential fluid changed at 7,500 miles (12,000 km), then every 15,000 miles (24,000 km).
*6: If a Maintenance Minder message does not appear more than 36 months after the display for item 7 is reset, change the brake fluid every 3 years.
