LIGHTING
UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEMF
EXTERIOR LAMP CONTROL
Rotate the knob on the left side of the instru-ment panel to activate the exterior lamps .
Off/On
AUTO
Automatically activates the Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) or the headlamps and other exterior lamps depending on outside light conditions .

Press the button to turn the fog lamps on or off.
INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTING
Instrument Panel Illumination
Press and release the knob to extend it . Turn the knob to adjust the instrument panel lighting .
INTELLIBEAM SYSTEMF
The IntelliBeam system automatically turns the high-beam headlamps on/off based on traffic conditions . A green indicator displays on the instrument cluster when the system is on; a blue indicator displays when the high-beam headlamps are on .
Press the button on the turn signal lever with the exterior lamp control in the AUTO or Headlamps position to turn the IntelliBeam system on or off.
Note: IntelliBeam activates the high-beam headlamps only when driving over 25 mph. The IntelliBeam system is turned off if the fog lamps are on.See Lighting in your Owner’s Manual .

The Universal Remote System on the overhead console enables your vehicle to control 3 dif-ferent devices, ranging from garage doors and gates to home lighting . Go to www.homelink.com for detailed

The infotainment system uses a Bluetooth or USB connection to link to a compatible device, such as a smartphone, cell phone, USB flash drive or portable audio player/iPod®, and offers hands-free voice control . For assistance with the infotainment system, contact Customer Assistance at 1-855-4-SUPPORT (1-855-478-7767) or go to my.gmc.com/ learn .
MANAGING HOME PAGE ICONS
The Home page icons can be arranged in any order .
1 . To enter edit mode, touch and hold the Home page icon to move .
2 . Drag the icon to the desired position and release . Drag the icon to the edge of the screen to move to another page .
3 . Press the Home button to exit edit mode .

BLUETOOTH® SYSTEM
Refer to your Owner’s Manual for important information about using the Bluetooth system while driving.
Before using a Bluetooth-enabled device in the vehicle, it must be paired with the in-vehicle Bluetooth system . The pairing process is disabled when the vehicle is moving . Not all devices will support all functions . Visit my.gmc.com/ learn for more information .
PAIR A PHONE
1 . To use voice recognition, press the Push to Talk button on the steering wheel; after the beep, say “Pair Phone .”
To use the infotainment screen, select the Phone icon > Connect Phones > Add Phone .
2 . Start the pairing process on your phone . From your phone’s Bluetooth settings, select the name shown on the infotainment screen .
3. Confirm the codes that appear on the infotainment screen and the phone.
4 . When pairing is complete, the phone screen is displayed . Your phone book may be down-loaded depending on the phone .
STREAMING AUDIO
With a paired device connected via Bluetooth, touch Audio and then touch Bluetooth from the sources list or touch More to view the Bluetooth option . Control audio operation using the device controls or infotainment controls .

INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM
APPLE CARPLAY
Apple CarPlay capability is available through a compatible smartphone using the Apple CarPlay icon on the Home page of the infotainment system . No app is required .
1 . Connect your compatible phone by plugging the Lightning cable into a USB data port . Use your device’s factory-provided Lightning cable . Aftermarket cables may not work .
2 . The Apple CarPlay icon will illuminate . Touch the Apple CarPlay icon to have your apps displayed .
ANDROID AUTO
Android Auto capability is available through a compatible smartphone using the Android Auto icon on the Home page of the infotainment system .
1 . Download the Android Auto app to your phone from the Google Play Store .
2 . Connect your compatible phone by plugging the phone USB cable into a USB data port . Use your device’s factory-provided USB cable . Aftermarket cables may not work .
3 . The Android Auto icon will illuminate . Touch the Android Auto icon to have your apps displayed .
APPSF
In-vehicle apps — connecting to music, news, weather, travel information, sports, entertain-ment and more — are available for download to the radio through the APPS icon on the Home page . Downloading and using the apps requires internet connectivity, and may require a data plan, accessed through the vehicle’s 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, if active, or a mobile device hotspot . OPEN/CLOSE THE POWER LIFTGATE
Press the Power Liftgate button twice on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter .
Press the Liftgate knob (A) on the driver’s door .
Press the touchpad (B) on the liftgate
handle to open the liftgate .
Press the button (C) next to the pull handle to close the liftgate .
PROGRAMMING THE LIFTGATE HEIGHT1 . Turn the Liftgate knob to the 3/4 mode position .
2 . Open the liftgate . Adjust it manually to the desired height .
3 . To save the setting, press and hold the
button (C) next to the pull handle until a beep sounds .
4 . In the 3/4 mode position, the power liftgate will open to the programmed height .
HANDS-FREE OPERATIONF
To open or close the liftgate hands-free, kick your foot straight under the rear bumper, just left of the license plate . The RKE
transmitter must be within 3 feet of the liftgate .

TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR
HILL DESCENT CONTROL
Hill Descent Control sets and maintains vehicle speed from 2–14 mph while descending a very steep incline in a forward or reverse gear .
Press the Hill Descent Control button on the center console . Vehicle speed must be below 31 mph to turn on the system .
Increase or decrease speed by applying the accelerator or brake pedal or use the Cruise Control +/– buttons on the steering wheel . The adjusted speed becomes the new set speed . The symbol flashes on the instrument cluster when the system is actively apply-ing the brakes to maintain vehicle speed .

F Optional equipment
The Low Tire Pressure warning light on the instrument cluster illuminates when one or more of the vehicle’s tires is significantly underinflated. Fill the tires to the proper tire pres-sures listed on the Tire and Loading Information label located below the driver’s door latch . Current tire pressures can be viewed on the Driver Information Center .
