Anti-Lock Brake System WarningLamp
If it illuminates when you aredriving, this indicates amalfunction. Your vehiclecontinues to have normal braking withoutthe anti-lock brake system function. It alsoilluminates momentarily when you switchthe ignition on to confirm the lamp isfunctional. If it does not illuminate whenyou switch the ignition on, or begins toflash at any time, have the system checkedby an authorized dealer. Have your vehiclechecked as soon as possible.
Brake System Warning Lamp
WARNING: Driving your vehiclewith the warning lamp on is dangerous.A significant decrease in brakingperformance may occur. It may take youlonger to stop your vehicle. Have yourvehicle checked as soon as possible.Driving extended distances with theparking brake engaged can cause brakefailure and the risk of personal injury.
It illuminates when you engagethe parking brake and theignition is on.
If it illuminates when your vehicle ismoving, make sure the parking brake isdisengaged. If the parking brake isdisengaged, this indicates low brake fluidlevel or a brake system fault. It alsoilluminates momentarily when you switchthe ignition on to confirm the lamp isfunctional. If it does not illuminate whenyou switch the ignition on, or begins toflash at any time, have the system checkedby an authorized dealer. Have your vehiclechecked immediately.
Direction Indicator
Flashes during operation. Anincrease in the rate of flashingwarns of a failed indicator bulb.
Fasten Seatbelt Warning Lamp
It illuminates and a chimesounds until you fasten theseatbelts.
Front Fog Lamp Indicator (If Equipped)
It illuminates when you switchthe front fog lamps on.
Headlamp High Beam Indicator
It illuminates when you switchthe headlamp high beam on.
Battery
It illuminates when you switchthe ignition on.
If it illuminates when the engineis running this indicates a malfunction.
Switch off all unnecessary electricalequipment. Have your vehicle checked assoon as possible.
Parking Lamps
It will illuminate when you switchthe parking lamps on.
Low Fuel Level Warning Lamp
If it illuminates when you aredriving, refuel as soon aspossible.

Move the catch to the right.Open the hood and support it with thehood prop rod. Attach the prop rod to thehood, the correct location is indicated byan arrow.
Closing the Hood
Note:You must secure the hood propcorrectly after use.
Note:Make sure that the hood is closedproperly.
Lower the hood and allow it to drop fromunder its own weight for the last 20-30centimeters.
