To open the liftgate, pressKon the
power door lock switch or press
Kon
the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transmitter twice to unlock all doors.
Press the touch pad (1) on the
underside of the liftgate handle and
lift up. See Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
System Operation 028.
Use the pull cup to lower and close
the liftgate. Do not press the touch
pad while closing the liftgate. This will
cause the liftgate to be unlatched.
To open the liftglass, press the
button (2) above the license plate.
Close the liftglass before opening the
liftgate to avoid damaging it.
Power Liftgate Operation
If equipped with a power liftgate, the
switch is on the overhead console. The
vehicle must be in P (Park).
Choose the power liftgate mode by
selecting MAX or 3/4. Press
8on
the overhead console or on the RKE
transmitter press
btwice quickly. Press any liftgate button while the
liftgate is moving to stop it. Pressing
again reverses the direction.
To close, press
lon the bottom of
the liftgate next to the latch.
To disable the power liftgate function,
select OFF on the liftgate switch. See
Liftgate 040.
Windows
Power windows work when the
ignition is on, in ACC/ACCESSORY,
or when Retained Accessory Power
(RAP) is active. See Retained Accessory
Power (RAP) 0206. Using the window switch, press to
open or pull to close the window.
The windows may be temporarily
disabled if they are used repeatedly
within a short time.
Seat Adjustment
Uplevel Seat Adjustment
If equipped, the ignition must be on
to use all uplevel seat features.

Base Seat Adjustment
To adjust the seat:
.Move the seat forward or rearward
by sliding the control forward or
rearward.
. Raise or lower the front part of the
seat cushion by moving the front
of the control up or down.
. Raise or lower the seat by moving
the rear of the control up or down.

Reclining Seatbacks
To adjust the seatback:

Tilt the top of the control
rearward to recline.

to raise.

Memory Features
If equipped, memory seats allow two
drivers to save and recall their unique
seat positions for driving the vehicle,
and a shared exit position for getting
out of the vehicle. Other feature
positions may also be saved, such as
power mirrors and power steering
wheel, if equipped. Memory positions
are linked to RKE transmitter 1 or 2
for automatic memory recalls.
Before saving, adjust all available
memory feature positions. Turn the
ignition on and then press and release
SET; a beep will sound. Then
immediately press and hold 1, 2,or
B(Exit) until two beeps sound.
To manually recall these positions,
press and hold 1, 2, or
Buntil the
saved position is reached.
When Auto Memory Recall is enabled
in vehicle personalization, positions
previously saved to memory buttons
1 and 2 are recalled when the ignition
is changed from off to on or ACC/
ACCESSORY.
When Easy Exit Options is enabled in
vehicle personalization, the feature
automatically recalls the previously
saved exit position when exiting the
vehicle.
Memory adjustments may not be
available upon delivery or after service
until steps in “Saving Memory
Positions” section are performed. See
Memory Seats 065.
Second Row Seats
The second row seatbacks can be
folded for additional cargo space,
or the seats can be folded and tumbled for easy entry/exit to the
third row seats. The seatbacks also
recline.

Heated and Cooled Front
Seats
The buttons are near the climate
controls on the center stack. To
operate, the engine must be running.

Head Restraint Adjustment
Do not drive until the head restraints
for all occupants are installed and
adjusted properly.
To achieve a comfortable seating
position, change the seatback recline
angle as little as necessary while
keeping the seat and the head
restraint height in the proper position.

Passenger Sensing System
United States
Canada and Mexico
The passenger sensing system will
turn off the front outboard passenger
frontal airbag under certain
conditions. No other airbag is affected
by the passenger sensing system. See

will light on the overhead console
when the vehicle is started. See

Steering Wheel Adjustment
To adjust the power tilt and
telescoping steering wheel:
Press the control to move the steering
wheel up and down or forward and
rearward.
Do not adjust the steering wheel while
driving.
Throttle and Brake Pedal
Adjustment
If equipped, the position of the
throttle and brake pedals can be
changed.
Press the top of the switch to move
the pedals closer to your body. Press
the bottom of the switch to move the
pedals away.

The vehicle may have a memory
function, which lets pedal settings be
saved and recalled. See Memory Seats

Interior Lighting
Dome Lamps
There are dome lamps in the overhead
console and the headliner, if equipped.
To change the dome lamp settings,
press the following:
OFF : Turns the lamps off, even when
a door is open.
DOOR : The lamps come on
automatically when a door is opened.
ON : Turns all dome lamps on.

Second Row Seats
The vehicle's second row seats have
head restraints in the outboard
seating positions that cannot be
adjusted.
The second row seat outboard head
restraints are not removable.
Third Row Seats
The third row seat head restraint can
be lowered to allow for better visibility
when the rear seat is unoccupied.To lower the head restraint, press the
button located on the top of the
seatback and push the head
restraint down.
Return the lowered head restraint to
the upright position until it locks into
place. Push and pull on the head
restraint to make sure it is locked.

Front Seats
Power Seat Adjustment
{Warning
You can lose control of the vehicle
if you try to adjust a driver seat
while the vehicle is moving. Adjust
the driver seat only when the
vehicle is not moving.
{Warning
The power seats will work with the
ignition off. Children could operate
the power seats and be injured.
Never leave children alone in the
vehicle.
Uplevel Seat Adjustment
If equipped, the ignition must be on
to use all uplevel seat features.
