Snowchains
For technical reasons,the useofsnowchainson
thecompactsparetireisnotpermitted.
Ifyouhavetodrivewithsnowchainsandafront
tirefails,mountthesparetireinplaceofarear
tire.Installthesnowchainsonthereartirethat
youremoved,andinstallthatinplace ofthe
fronttirethatfailed.
AWARNING
—Afterinstalling asparetire,thetirepressure
mustbecheckedassoonaspossible.
—Donotdrivefasterthan50mph(80km/h)
withacompactsparetire.Drivingfaster
thanthatincreasestheriskofanaccident.
—Toreducetheriskofanaccident,avoidfull-
throttleacceleration,heavybraking,and
fastcorneringwiththecompactsparetire.
—Toreducetheriskofanaccident,neverdrive
withmorethanonecompactsparetire.
