lightly.Inorderforthiswarningvibrationtooc-
cur,itmustfirstbe switchedonintheInfotain-
mentsystem.Active laneassistisreadyforoper-
ationwhenthelanemarkerlineisdetectedonat
leastonesideofthevehicle.
Thesystemisdesignedfordrivingonexpress-
waysandhighwaysandthereforeonlyactivates
atspeedsaboveapproximately40mph(65

“late”steeringcorrection.
—Undercertainconditionssuchasrutsinthe
road,aninclinedroadwayorcrosswinds,the
correctivesteeringalonemaynot beenough
tokeepthevehicleinthemiddleofthelane.
—Forsafetyreasons,activelaneassistmust
notbeusedwhentherearepoorroadand/or
weatherconditionssuchasslipperyroads,
fog,gravel,heavyrain,snowandthepoten-
tialforhydroplaning.Usingactivelaneas-
