CAUTION!
•Always remove the Sentry Key from the vehicle
and lock all doors when leaving the vehicle
unattended.
• The Sentry Key Immobilizer system is not com-
patible with some aftermarket remote starting
systems. Use of these systems may result in
vehicle starting problems and loss of security
protection.
All of the keys provided with your new vehicle have
been programmed to the vehicle electronics.
Replacement Keys
NOTE: Only keys that have been programmed to the
vehicle electronics can be used to start the vehicle. Once
a Sentry Key has been programmed to a vehicle, it
cannot be programmed to any other vehicle.
NOTE: When having the Sentry Key Immobilizer
System serviced, bring all vehicle keys with you to an
authorized dealer.

VEHICLE SECURITY ALARM SYSTEM —
IF EQUIPPED
The Vehicle Security Alarm monitors the doors and
decklid for unauthorized entry. It will also activate the
siren and emit a visual flash of the turn signals (front
and rear) for any of the following intrusion cases.

If the lever is pulled while in the O (off) position, the
wipers will operate for three wipe cycles and then turn
off.
WARNING!
Sudden loss of visibility through the windshield
could lead to a collision. You might not see other
vehicles or other obstacles. To avoid sudden icing of
the windshield during freezing weather, warm the
windshield with the defroster before and during
windshield washer use.
Mist
Use the Mist feature when weather conditions make
occasional usage of the wipers necessary. Push the lever
upward to the MIST position and release for a single
wiping cycle.
NOTE:The Mist feature does not activate the washer
pump; therefore, no washer fluid will be sprayed on the
windshield. The wash function must be used in order to
spray the windshield with washer fluid.
CLIMATE CONTROLS
The Climate Control System allows you to regulate the
temperature, air flow, and direction of air circulating
throughout the vehicle. The controls are located on the
instrument panel below the radio.

Check TPMS Warnings
The TPMS Warning Light will flash on and off for 75
seconds and remain on solid when a system fault is
detected, the “TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING UN-
AVAILABLE” text message will display. If the ignition
key is cycled, this sequence will repeat providing the
system fault still exists. The TPMS Warning Light will
turn off when the fault condition no longer exists. A
system fault can occur with any of the following
scenarios:
1. Jamming due to electronic devices or driving next tofacilities emitting the same radio frequencies as the
TPM sensors.
2. Installing some form of aftermarket window tinting that affects radio wave signals.
3. Snow or ice around the wheels or wheel housings.
4. Using tire chains on the vehicle.
5. Using wheels/tires not equipped with TPM sensors.
NOTE: Your vehicle may be equipped with a compact
spare wheel and tire assembly. 1. The compact spare tire does not have a tire pressure
monitoring sensor. Therefore, the TPMS will not
monitor the tire pressure in the compact spare tire.
2. If you install the compact spare tire in place of a road tire that has a pressure below the low-pressure
warning limit, upon the next ignition key cycle, a
chime will sound and the TPMS Warning Light will
still turn ON due to the low tire.
3. However, after driving the vehicle for up to 20 minutes above 15 mph (24 km/h), the TPMS Warn-
ing Light will flash on and off for 75 seconds and
then remain on solid.
4. This occurs for each subsequent ignition key cycle, a chime will sound and the TPMS Warning Light will
flash on and off for 75 seconds and then remain on
solid.
5. Once you repair or replace the original road tire and reinstall it on the vehicle in place of the compact
spare tire, the TPMS will update automatically and
the TPMS Warning Light will turn OFF, as long as no
tire pressure is below the low-pressure warning limit
in any of the four active road tires. The vehicle may

•Do not drill, cut, or tamper with the knee impact
bolsters in any way.
• Do not mount any accessories to the knee impact
bolsters such as alarm lights, stereos, citizen band
radios, etc.
Supplemental Driver Knee Air Bag
This vehicle is equipped with a Supplemental Driver
Knee Air Bag mounted in the instrument panel below
the steering column. The Supplemental Driver Knee Air
Bag provides enhanced protection during a frontal
impact by working together with the seat belts, preten-
sioners, and front air bags.
Supplemental Side Air Bags
Supplemental Door-Integrated Side Air Bag Inflat-
able Curtains (SABICs)
This vehicle is equipped with Supplemental Door-
Integrated Side Air Bag Inflatable Curtains (SABICs). SABICs may help reduce the risk of head and other
injuries to front seat outboard occupants in certain side
impacts, in addition to the injury reduction potential
provided by the seat belts and body structure.
The SABICs are located in the door trim below the side
windows. The trim covering the SABICs is labeled “SRS
AIRBAG” or “AIRBAG.”
The SABICs deploy upward, covering the side win-
dows. An inflating SABIC pushes the outside edge of
the trim out of the way and covers the window. The
SABICs inflate with enough force to injure occupants if
they are not belted and seated properly, or if items are
positioned in the area where the SABICs inflate. Chil-
dren are at an even greater risk of injury from a
deploying air bag.
The SABICs may help reduce the risk of partial or
complete ejection of vehicle occupants through side
windows in certain side impact events.

Dashboard Fuse Box
The dashboard fuse box is part of the Body Control
Module (BCM) and is located on the passenger side
under the forward passenger floor. Remove the six
screws and the forward floor pan to access the BCM.

TIRE SERVICE KIT
Small punctures up to 1/4 inch (6 mm) in the tire tread
can be sealed with the Tire Service Kit. Foreign objects
(e.g., screws or nails) should not be removed from the
tire. Tire Service Kit can be used in outside tempera-
tures approximately from -40°F (-40°C) to 122°F (50°C).
This kit will provide a temporary tire seal, allowing you
to drive your vehicle up to a maximum speed of 50 mph
(80 km/h).
Tire Service Kit Storage Location
The Tire Service Kit is located in the rear storage area
under the decklid.
