Power System Won’t Start
Checking the Procedure
When the READY indicator does not come on and the Ready To Drive message
does not appear on the driver informatio n interface, check the following items and
take appropriate action.

Handling the Unexpected
If the Keyless Access Re mote Battery is Weak
If the beeper sounds, the ENGINE START/STOP button flashes, and the READY
indicator does not come on.
The To Start, Hold Remote Near Start Button message appears on the driver
information interface.
Turn on the power system as follows. 1.Touch the center of the ENGINE START/
STOP button with the A logo on the keyless
access remote while the ENGINE START/
STOP button is flashing. The buttons on
the keyless access remo te should be facing
you.
u The ENGINE START/STOP button
flashes for about 30 seconds.
2. Depress the brake pedal and press the
ENGINE START/STOP button within 10
seconds after the beeper sounds and the
ENGINE START/STOP button changes
from flashing to on.
u If you don’t depress the pedal, the mode
will change to ACCESSORY.

When You Cannot Open the Hatch
If you cannot open the hatch, use the following procedure.1.Remove the built-in key.
2. Fully insert the key and turn it.

After taking these steps, contact an authorized Acura
NSX dealer to have your vehicle checked.
If the security system alar m is set and open the hatch
with the built-in key, the alarm goes off.
