Each stored memory setting will have an
associated Easy Entry and Easy Exit position.
NOTE:
The Easy Entry/Exit feature is not enabled
when the vehicle is delivered from the fac-
tory. The Easy Entry/Exit feature is enabled
(or later disabled) through the programmable
features in the Uconnect system. Refer to
“Uconnect Settings” in “Multimedia” in the
Owner’s Manual for further information.
Heated Seats
On some models, the front and rear seats may
be equipped with heaters located in the seat
cushions and seat backs.
WARNING!
• Persons who are unable to feel pain tothe skin because of advanced age,
chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cord in-
jury, medication, alcohol use, exhaus-
tion or other physical condition must
exercise care when using the seat
heater. It may cause burns even at low

temperatures, especially if used for long
periods of time.

Do not place anything on the seat or
seatback that insulates against heat, such
as a blanket or cushion. This may cause
the seat heater to overheat. Sitting in a
seat that has been overheated could
cause serious burns due to the increased
surface temperature of the seat.
Front Heated Seats
The front heated seats control buttons are
located on the center instrument panel below
the climate controls.
If your vehicle is equipped with a touch-
screen, the front heated seats control buttons
are also located within the climate or controls
screen of the touchscreen.
• Press the heated seat button
once to
turn the HI setting on.
• Press the heated seat button
a second
time to turn the LO setting on.
• Press the heated seat button
a third
time to turn the heating elements off. When the HI-level setting is selected, the
heater will provide a boosted heat level dur-
ing the first four minutes of operation. Then,
the heat output will drop to the normal HI-
level. If the HI-level setting is selected, the
system will automatically switch to LO-level
after approximately 60 minutes of continu-
ous operation. At that time, the display will
change from HI to LO, indicating the change.
The LO-level setting will turn off automati-
cally after approximately 45 minutes.
NOTE:
The engine must be running for the heated
seats to operate.
Vehicles Equipped With Remote Start
On models that are equipped with remote
start, the driver’s seat can be programmed to
come on during a remote start.
If your vehicle is equipped with a touch-
screen, this feature can be programmed
through the Uconnect system. Refer to
“Uconnect Settings” in “Multimedia” in the
Owner’s Manual for further information.
If your vehicle is not equipped with a touch-
screen, this feature can be programmed
through the instrument cluster display. Refer

to “Instrument Cluster Display” in “Getting
To Know Your Instrument Panel” in the Own-
er’s Manual for further information.
Rear Heated Seats
On some models, the two outboard seats are
equipped with heated seats. The heated seat
switches for these seats are located on the
rear of the center console.
There are two heated seat switches that allow
the rear passengers to operate the seats in-
dependently. You can choose from HI, LO or
OFF heat settings. Amber indicator lights in
each switch indicate the level of heat in use.
Two indicator lights will illuminate for HI, one
for LO and none for OFF.Push the switch once
to select HI-level heat-
ing. Push the switch a
second time to select
LO-level heating. Push
the switch a third time
to shut the heating el-
ements OFF. NOTE:
• Once a heat setting is selected, heat will be
felt within two to five minutes.
• The engine must be running for the heated seats to operate.
When the HI-level setting is selected, the
heater will provide a boosted heat level dur-

the heat output will drop to the normal HI-
level. If the HI-level setting is selected, the
system will automatically switch to LO-level

illuminated LEDs changes from two to one,

Ventilated Seats — If Equipped
Located in the seat cushion are small fans
that draw the air from the passenger compart-
ment and move air through fine perforations
in the seat cover to help keep the driver and
front passenger cooler in higher ambient
temperatures. The fans operate at two
speeds, HI and LO. The front ventilated seats control buttons are
located on the center instrument panel below
the climate controls.
If your vehicle is equipped with a touch-
screen, the front ventilated seats control but-
tons are also located within the climate or
controls screen of the touchscreen.
• Press the ventilated seat button
once to
choose HI.
• Press the ventilated seat button
a
second time to choose LO.
• Press the ventilated seat button
a third
time to turn the ventilated seat OFF.
NOTE:
The engine must be running for the venti-
lated seats to operate.

STEERING WHEEL
Tilt Steering Column
This feature allows you to tilt the steering
column upward or downward. The tilt lever is
located on the steering column, below the
multifunction lever.Pull the lever toward the steering wheel to
unlock the steering column. With one hand
firmly on the steering wheel, move the steer-
ing column up or down, as desired. Release
the lever to lock the steering column firmly in
place.
WARNING!
Do not adjust the steering column while
driving. Adjusting the steering column
while driving or driving with the steering
column unlocked, could cause the driver
to lose control of the vehicle. Failure to
follow this warning may result in serious
injury or death.
Heated Steering Wheel — If
Equipped
The steering wheel contains a heating ele-
ment that helps warm your hands in cold
weather. The heated steering wheel has only
one temperature setting. Once the heated
steering wheel has been turned on, it will
operate for an average of 80 minutes before
automatically shutting off. This time mayvary based on the temperature of the sur-
rounding environment or the heated steering
wheel may not turn on when it is already
warm.
The heated steering wheel control button is
located on the center instrument panel below
the climate controls. There are also buttons
located within the climate or controls screen
of the touchscreen.
• Press the heated steering wheel button
once to turn the heating element on.
• Press the heated steering wheel button
a second time to turn the heating element
off.

STARTING THE ENGINE — 6.7L
DIESEL ENGINE
Before starting your vehicle, adjust your seat,
adjust both inside and outside mirrors, and
fasten your seat belts.
The starter should not be operated for more
than 15-second intervals. Waiting a few min-
utes between such intervals will protect the
starter from overheating.
WARNING!
• Do not leave children or animals inside parked vehicles in hot weather. Interior
heat build up may cause serious injury
or death.
• When leaving the vehicle, always make
sure the keyless ignition node is in the
“OFF” mode, remove the key fob from
the vehicle and lock the vehicle.
WARNING!
• Never leave children alone in a vehicle,or with access to an unlocked vehicle.
Allowing children to be in a vehicle un-
attended is dangerous for a number of
reasons. A child or others could be seri-
ously or fatally injured. Children should
be warned not to touch the parking
brake, brake pedal or the gear selector.
• Do not leave the key fob in or near the
vehicle, or in a location accessible to
children, and do not leave the ignition of
a vehicle equipped with Keyless Enter-
N-Go in the ACC or ON/RUN mode. A
child could operate power windows,
other controls, or move the vehicle.
Keyless Enter-N-Go — Ignition
This feature allows the driver to operate the
ignition switch with the push of a button, as
long as the Remote Start/Keyless Enter-N-Go
key fob is in the passenger compartment.
Normal Starting
Using The ENGINE START/STOP Button
1. The transmission must be in PARK or
NEUTRAL.
2. Press and hold the brake pedal while pushing the ENGINE START/STOP button
once.
3. The system takes over and attempts to start the vehicle. If the vehicle fails to
start, the starter will disengage automati-
cally after 25 seconds.
4. If you wish to stop the cranking of the engine prior to the engine starting, re-
move your foot from the brake pedal and
push the button again.
NOTE:
• Normal starting of either a cold or a warm engine is obtained without pumping or
pressing the accelerator pedal.
• Under cold weather conditions, the engine may not immediately crank if the "Wait To
Start" telltale is illuminated. This is normal
operation. For vehicles equipped with Key-
less Enter-N-Go, the vehicle will automati-

Media Mode is entered by pushing the ME-
DIA button located on the faceplate. Once in
Media Mode, press the “Source” button on
the touchscreen and the desired mode button
on the touchscreen. Disc (if equipped), USB,
AUX, and Bluetooth (if equipped), are theMedia sources available. When available, you
can select the “Browse” button on the touch-
screen to be given these options:

Source
Press the “Source” button on the touch-
screen to select the desired audio source:
Disc (if equipped), USB, AUX and Bluetooth
(if equipped). This screen will time out after a
few seconds and return to the main radio
screen if no selection is made.
You can press the “Source,” “Pause/Play” or
the “Info” button on the touchscreen for
artist information on the current song play-
ing. Disc Mode — If Equipped
Your vehicle may have a remote Disc player
located in the center console storage bin.
Disc Mode is entered by either inserting a
CD/Disc or by pushing the MEDIA button on
the faceplate. Once in Media Mode, press the
“Source” button on the touchscreen and se-
lect “Disc.”
Inserting Compact Disc
Gently insert one disc into the disc player
with the disc label following the illustration
indicated on the player. The disc will auto-
matically be pulled into the disc player and
the disc icon will illuminate on the radio
display. If a disc does not go into the slot
more than 1.0 inch (2.5 cm), a disc may
already be loaded and must be ejected before
a new disc can be loaded.
If you insert a disc with the ignition ON and
the radio ON, the unit will switch to disc
mode and begin to play when you insert the
disc. The display will show the track number
and index time in minutes and seconds. Play
will begin at the start of track one.

• If you are using the native Uconnect navi-gation system, and you try and start a new
route using CarPlay, via voice or any other
method, a pop-up will appear asking if you
would like to switch from Uconnect naviga-
tion to iPhone navigation. A pop-up will
also appear, asking if you’d like to switch, if
an CarPlay navigation is currently in use
and you attempt to launch a native
Uconnect route. Selecting “Yes” will switch
the navigation type to the newly used
method of navigation and a route will be
planned for the new destination. If “No” is
selected the navigation type will remain
