adapter.
The connection of an electrical device
not approved by PEUGEOT, such as a

It consists of two parts:

To remove the part A:

nclip the rear mounting 1 on each side.

nclip the front mounting 2 on each side.
This tray can be raised only in one direction.
To refit it, proceed in the reverse order. When sharp deceleration occurs, objects
placed on the load space cover can turn
into projectiles.

extract the two rear mountings 4 from the
frame.
To refit it, proceed in the reverse order.

ull the handle towards you, the load space
cover will automatically roll up.
The moving part A
can be folded against the
backrests of the rear seats.
F Compress control B and lift the load space
cover on the right then on the left to remove it.

Stowing rings
Hatchback To move one of the movable rings:

hile pressing the button, slide the ring into
its track.

button to lock it.

heck that the net is attached securely and
properly extended.

traighten the rear seats and lock them in
place.
SW
The boot has four stowing rings to secure
luggage using different types of retaining nets.
For the SW, two of the rings are fixed and the
other two are movable in tracks.
For more information on the various nets,

Do not confuse the stowing rings with the
bag hooks or the Top Tether fixings.
To remove or refit one of the movable rings:

Storage well
Depending on version, it includes:

opened and goes off automatically when the

Parking lamps
Vehicle side marking by illumination of the
sidelamps on the traffic side only.

epending on version, within one minute
of switching off the ignition, operate the
lighting control stalk up or down depending
on the traffic side (for example, when
parking on the right, push the lighting
control stalk downwards; the left-hand
sidelamps come on).
This is confirmed by an audible signal and
illumination of the corresponding direction
indicator lamp in the instrument panel.
To switch off the parking lamps, return the
lighting control stalk to the central position.
Headlamp adjustment
Manual adjustment of
halogen headlamps
To avoid causing a nuisance to other road
users, the height of the halogen headlamps
should be adjusted according to the load in the
vehicle.
0 Driver only or driver + front passenger.
1 5 people.
2 5 people + loads in the boot.
3 Driver + loads in the boot.
4 5 6 Not used.
The initial setting is position " 0".
Automatic adjustment of
"Full LED" technology
headlamps
If a fault occurs, this warning lamp
comes on in the instrument panel,
accompanied by a message and an
audible signal.
This system automatically adjusts the height
of the beams from this type of headlamp,
according to the load in the vehicle, to avoid
causing a nuisance to other road users.
The system then places the headlamp beams
in the lowest position.
Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualified workshop.
Do not touch the "Full LED" technology
headlamps. Risk of electrocution!
Lighting and visibility

Operating fault
Should a fault occur with the system,
this warning lamp comes on in the
instrument panel, accompanied by
the display of a message and an
audible signal.
If you continue to tow a trailer, reduce your
speed and drive carefully!
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop to have the system checked.
The trailer stability assist system offers
increased safety in normal driving,
provided that the recommendations on
towing a trailer are obser ved. It should not
encourage the driver to take risks, such
as towing a trailer in adverse operating
conditions (overloading, failure to obser ve
the trailer nose weight, worn or under-
inflated tyres, faulty braking system, etc.)
or drive at too high a speed.
In certain cases, snaking of the trailer
may not be detected by the ESC system,
particularly with a light trailer.
When driving on slippery or poor sur faces,
the system may not be able to prevent
sudden snaking of the trailer.
Seat belts
Front seat belts
The front seat belts are fitted with a pyrotechnic
pretensioning and force limiting system.
This system improves safety in the front
seats in the event of a front or side impact.
Depending on the severity of the impact,
the
pretensioning system instantly tightens the
seat belts against the body of the occupants.
The pretensioning seat belts are active when
the ignition is on.
The force limiter reduces the pressure of the
seat belt on the chest of the occupant, thus
improving their protection.
Fastening
F Pull the strap, then insert the tongue in the buckle.
Unfastening
F Press the red button on the buckle.
F G uide the seat belt as it is reeled in.
Rear seat belts
F Check that the seat belt is fastened correctly by pulling the strap.
Each of the rear seats has a three-point seat
belt with inertia reel.
The outer seats are fitted with a pretensioning
and force limiting system.
When carrying heavy loads in the boot, the rear
seat belts should be fastened.

Using four additional sensors located on the
sides of the front and rear bumpers, the system
records the position of fixed obstacles during
the manoeuvre and signals them when they are
located by the sides of the vehicle.Only fixed obstacles are signalled
correctly. Moving obstacles detected
at the beginning of the manoeuvre may
be signalled mistakenly, while moving
obstacles which appear at the sides of
the vehicle and which were not previously
recorded will not be signalled.
Deactivation/Activation
The function is deactivated and
activated in the Driving /Vehicle
menu of the touch screen.
The state of the function stays in the memory
when the ignition is switched off. The rear parking sensors system will
be deactivated automatically if a trailer
or bicycle carrier is connected to a
towing device installed in line with the
manufacturer's recommendations.
In this case, the outline of a trailer is
displayed at the rear of the image of the
vehicle.
The parking sensors are deactivated during the
space measurement phase of the Park Assist
and Full Park Assist functions.
For more information on the Park Assist or the
Full Park Assist , refer to the corresponding
section.
Operating limits
- Certain obstacles located in the sensors’ blind spots may not be detected or no
longer be detected during the manoeuvre.

S
ounds such as those emitted by noisy
vehicles and machinery (e.g. lorries,
pneumatic drills, etc.) may inter fere with the
vehicle's sensors.
-

C
ertain materials (fabrics) absorb sound
waves: pedestrians may not be detected.
-

A
ccumulated snow or dead leaves on the
road sur face can inter fere with the vehicle's
sensors.
Maintenance
recommendations
In bad or wintry weather, ensure that the
sensors are not covered with mud, ice or
snow. When reverse gear is engaged, an
audible signal (long beep) indicates that
the sensors may be dirty.
High pressure jet wash
When washing your vehicle, keep the lance
at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from the
sensors.

A f
ront or rear impact to the vehicle can
distort the settings of the sensors, which is
not always detected by the system: distance
measurements may be incorrect.

T
he tilting of the vehicle if the boot is
very loaded can affect the distance
measurements.

T
he sensors may be affected by poor
weather conditions (heavy rain, thick fog,
snowfall, etc.).
