Light switch in position 8: rear fog
light can only be switched on with
front fog lights.
The vehicle rear fog light is
deactivated when towing a trailer or a
plug is connected with the socket, e.
g. when a bicycle carrier is used.
Parking lights
When the vehicle is parked, the
parking lights on one side can be
activated:
1. Switch off ignition.
2. Move turn signal lever all the way up (right parking lights) or down
(left parking lights).
Confirmed by a signal and the
corresponding turn signal control
indicator.
Reversing lights
The reversing light comes on when
the ignition is on and reverse gear is
selected.
Misted light covers
The inside of the light housing may
mist up briefly in poor, wet and cold weather conditions, in heavy rain or
after washing. The mist disappears
quickly by itself; to help switch on the
headlights.

Vehicle care2372. Disengage spring clip fromretainer by moving it forward and
to the side. Swivel spring clip
downwards.
3. Withdraw the bulb holder from the
reflector housing.
4. Detach the bulb from the bulb holder and replace the bulb.
5. Insert the bulb holder and install spring clip.
Fit the cap and rotate clockwise.
Front turn signal light
In case of defective LEDs, have them replaced by a workshop.
Side light
In case of defective LEDs, have them
replaced by a workshop.
Daytime running light In case of defective LEDs, have them
replaced by a workshop.
Fog lights
The bulbs are accessible from the
underside of the vehicle.
1. Turn the bulb holder anti- clockwise and remove it from the
reflector housing.
2. Disengage the bulb socket from the plug connector by pressing
the retaining lug.
3. Remove and replace the bulb socket with bulb and attach the
plug connector.
4. Insert the bulb socket into the reflector housing by turning
clockwise and engage.

4. Detach the plug from the light assembly.
5.Press the three retaining lugs and
remove the bulb carrier from the
light assembly.
On version with LED tail lights, the position of the retaining lugs is
slightly different.
6. Remove and replace the bulb:
Tail light ( 1)
Rear fog light ( 2) (left side)
Reverse light ( 2) (right side)

2. Unscrew the plastic securing nutby hand.
3. Carefully withdraw the lightassembly from the recesses and
remove.
4. Press the three retaining lugs and
remove the bulb carrier from the
light assembly.
5. Remove and replace the bulb:
Reverse light ( 1)
Tail light ( 2)
Rear fog light ( 3) (left side)
6. Insert the bulb carrier into the tail light assembly.
7. On version with LED tail lightsonly reverse light bulb can be
replaced: remove bulb holder in
the light assembly by turning.
Replace bulb in the bulb holder.
8. Fit light assembly on the tailgate and tighten the securing nut from
the inside. Attach cover.

After having changed defective fuses,
close the fuse box cover and press
until it engages.
If the fuse box cover is not closed
correctly, malfunction may occur.
Instrument panel fuse box
The fuse box is located behind a
cover.
Pull the cover and remove.
Vehicles with power connector:
If the fuse cover has a power
connector, it must be removed by
using an adapter and a screwdriver.
The adapter is stowed in the glovebox 3 71 . The screwdriver is stowed in the
load compartment 3 252.
