Raise the trun kl id.

Pull the trun kl id down using recess C .X
Lock the vehicle if necessary using the 7
button on the key or with KEYLESS-GO.
If KEYLESS-GO detects aS martKey in the trunk,
it does not lock.
Locking the trunk separately You can lock the trun ks eparately. If you then
unlock the vehicle centrally, the trun kr emains
locked and cannot be opened. X
Close the trun kl id.X
Take the mechanical key out of the SmartKey
( Y
page 67). X
Inser tt he mechanical key into the trun kl id
lock as far as it will go. X
Turn the mechanical key clockwise from posi-
tion G to position H .X
Remove the mechanical key. X
Inser tt he mechanical key into the SmartKey.
Unlocking the trunk (mechanical key)
! The trun kl id swings upwards when opened.
Therefore, make sure that there is sufficient
clearanc ea bove the trun kl id.
If the trun kc annot be unlocked with the Smart-
Key or KEYLESS-GO, use the mechanical key.
If you use the mechanical key to unlock and
open the trun kl id, the anti-thef ta larm system
will be triggered. Switc ho ff the alarm
