If an object restricts the trunk lid during the
automatic opening process, the obs tacle de tec‐
tion sy stem stops the trunk lid. The obs tacle
de tection function is only an aid and is not a
substitute foryo ur attentiveness.

ment. Otherwise, you may not recognize dan‐
