th e transmission position jorby the electric
parking brake:
R The seat belt is unfas tened and the driver's
door is opened. R
The drive sy stem is switched off.
R There is a malfunction in the sy stem or the
po we r supp lyis insuf ficient. Fu
nction of adjustable damping The
variable adjus table damping impr oves driv‐
ing comfort and ensures the best possible sus‐
pension, even with a laden vehicle. The damping
is adjus ted depending on the drive program
selected or when using the off-road sy stems. The adjus
table damping consists of:
