Installing child restraints
Child restraint LATCH anchors
7-passenger models
LATCH anchors are provided for the
right side second seat and between the
center and left side second seats. (But-
tons displaying the location of the
anchors are attached to the seats.)
6-passenger models
LATCH anchors are provided for both
second seats. (Butto ns displaying the
location of the anchors are attached to
the seats.)
Seat belts equipped with a child
restraint locking mechanism (ALR/
ELR belts except driver’s seat belt)

Follow the child restraint system manu facturer’s instructions. Firmly secure
child restraints to the seat s using the LATCH anchors or a seat belt. Attach the
top tether strap when installing a child restraint.
The lap/shoulder belt can be used if yo ur child restraint system is not compati-
ble with the LATCH (Lower Anchor s and Tethers for Children) system.

Warning and indicators lights
The units used on the speedometer may di
ffer depending on the target region.
The warning and indicators lights on the instrument cluster and center panel
inform the driver of the status of the vehicle’s various systems.
For the purpose of explanation, the following illustrations display all warning
lights and indicators illuminated.

Tachometer
Displays the engine speed in revolutions per minute
Engine coolant temperature gauge
Displays the engine coolant temperature
Multi-information display
Presents the driver with a variety of driving-related data (→P. 86)
Fuel gauge
Displays the quantity of fuel remaining in the tank
Speedometer
Displays the vehicle speed
Rear height control air suspension display (if equipped)
Displays the rear height mode selected ( →P. 337)
Shift position and shift range display
Displays the selected shift posi tion or selected shift range (→P. 194)
Odometer and trip meter display
Odometer:
Displays the total distance the vehicle has been driven
Trip meter:
Displays the distance the vehi cle has been driven since the meter was last reset. Trip
meters A and B can be used to record an d display different distances independently.
