Gauges and meters
The units used on the speedometer may differ depending on the target region.
Engine coolant temperature gauge
Displays the engine coolant temperature
Tachometer
Displays the engine speed in revolution per minute
Outside temperature
Displays the outside temperature within the range of -40
°F (-40 °C) to 122 °F
(50 °C). Low outside temperature indicator comes on when the ambient temperature
is 37 °F (3 °C) or lower.
Clock
Time can be adjusted or a clock format can be set from (settings display) of
the multi-information display. ( →P. 80)
Multi-information display
Presents the driver with a variety of vehicle data ( →P. 80)

Lexus Display Audio system
Display settings
Go to “Display”: “MENU” button
→ “Display”
Turn off screen.
Adjust screen quality.
Adjust screen quality of the rear
view monitor camera.
Change to day mode.
This setting turns the screen off. To tu rn it on, press any button such as the
“AUDIO” button or “MENU” button.
If a screen off image has been se t, the set image will be displayed.
When the headlights are turned on, the screen dims.
However, the screen can be switched to day mode by selecting “Day Mode”.
The screen will stay in day mode when the headlights are turned on until “Day Mode”
is selected again.
Select “General” or “Camera” on the “D isplay” screen or select “Display” on
audio menu screen. ( →P. 291)
Adjust the display as desired by turning the controller clockwise (+) or coun-
terclockwise (-).
To select “Contrast”, “Brightness”, “Color” or “Tone”, move the controller to the left.
(“Color” and “Tone” are available when “Display” on the audio settings screen for
each audio source is selected.)
■Changing the sample image (when “General” is selected)
Move the controller to the right and select the desired sample image.
Settings are available for adjusting the contrast and brightness of the screen.
The display can also be turned off.

■Headlight high beam (halogen bulb)
Turn the cover counterclockwise
and remove it.
Unplug the connector while pull-
ing the lock release.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.
Set the new light bulb.
Align the 3 tabs on the light bulb with
the mounting, and insert.
Turn it clockwise to set.

Maintenance and care
Set the connector.
Shake the bulb base gently to check
that it is not loose, turn the headlight
high beams on once and visually
confirm that no light is leaking
through the mounting.
Install the cover and turn it clock-
wise.
Align the ▲ of the cover to the posi-
tioning mark of the lamp body and
insert and turn it.
■Front turn signal lights
To allow enough working space,
turn the steering wheel to the
opposite side of the bulb to be
replaced.
Remove the 3 fender liner clips
and 1 screw.

If the electronic key does not operate properly
■Doors
Use the mechanical key (
→P. 92) in
order to perform the following oper-
ations:
Locks all the doors
Closes the windows and moon
roof (turn and hold)

Unlocks the door
Turning the key rearward unlocks the
driver’s door. Turning the key once
again within 5 seconds unlocks the
other doors.
Opens the windows and moon roof (turn and hold)*

: This setting must be custom ized at your Lexus dealer.
■Trunk
Turn the mechanical key clockwise
to open.
An alarm will sound if the alarm is set.
(→ P. 67)
If communication between the electronic key and vehicle is interrupted
(→ P. 110) or the electronic key ca nnot be used because the battery is
depleted, the smart access system with push-button start and wireless
remote control cannot be used. In su ch cases, the doors and trunk can be
opened and the engine can be started by following the procedure below.
